LOTOJA .COM 1 CREW REMINDERS VEHICLE SIGNS Please display support crew vehicle signs as shown to the right. These numbers and signs are given to cyclists during packet pickup. There’s no need to bring packing tape as ALL SIGNS ARE SELF-ADHESIVE. The signs should be applied to the outside of your vehicle’s windows. DIRECTIONS TO LEAVE LOGAN When leaving Logan, do not cross Main Street and 200 North. Please read and follow “Leaving Logan Directions” on Map 1 in the Event Guide. Help us minimize the number of times support vehicles cross that path of cyclists during LoToJa. DIRECTIONS TO LEAVE PRESTON Cyclosportive and Relay Crews leaving the Preston must drive the route outlined on Page 4 of this Checklist. No exceptions! Crew vehicles SHOULD NOT leave Preston via SR-34 for any reason. ROADS CLOSED TO SUPPORT VEHICLES Highways SR-36 (Strawberry/Emigration Canyon north of Preston, ID) and US-89 (traveling east from Montpelier, ID) are closed to all cyclist Support Crew vehicles. Support Crew vehicles must follow the designated routes. FINISH LINE FYIs LoToJa’s parking lot at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is about 600 feet west of the finish line. Please use the designated pathways to get to and from the finish line and do not walk in the traffic lanes or park along the Teton Village entrance/exits roads. These roads must remain clear. Support vehicles should ONLY park in the designated LoToJa parking lots as diagramed on page 32 in the Event Guide. Your patience and courtesy will be appreciated as ITS flaggers and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort parking staff do their job to make traffic flow as smooth as possible. Another parking option? The Stilson Parking lot, eight miles south of the finish line, is a great place to park and carpool to the finish line. Again, refer to page 32 in the Event Guide. FEED ZONE ACCESSIn the table below, the feed zones marked “LoToJa” are exclusively neutral support. Support crews are not allowed at these feed zones. LoToJa volunteers will provide food, hydration, and mechanical support at these locations.

*LoToJa relay category cyclists, depending upon use of transition zones, may not require a stop at this feed zone.

ESTIMATE ARRIVAL TIMESIt’s helpful for Crews to know cyclist(s) estimated arrival times at the feed zones they are supporting. Use chart below or the

Arrival Calculator PDF we provided in the last LoToJa Latest email.

CREW TRAVEL DISTANCES

PLEASE DRIVE SAFE!!!Support crews for relay teams, cyclosportive

riders, and licensed racers will leave Logan on

different roads. The routes are designed to

spread out traffic as much as possible and

minimize traffic congestion.

Support teams should only drive on the roads

designated for Crew travel (colored orange on

Course Maps). Yes, the orange routes require

extra driving, but our cyclists’ safety is our

number one priority!

WORRIED ABOUT GETTING TO A FEED ZONE IN TIME?

CONSIDER THESE OPTIONS...Have your cyclist(s) drop a feed bag in Logan the night before (we have drop boxes for every feed zone).

We encourage teams with more than one support vehicle and/or teams sharing the same start time to “divide

and conquer” the feed zones. This will reduce the stress of driving to every feed zone in a timely manner as well as

lower support vehicle traffic on the roads and in the feed zones.

CREW DRIVING DIRECTIONS

FOR RACE CREWSLeave Logan eastbound via US-89 through Logan Canyon traveling directly to Montpelier (Feed Zone 3)

Race crews should depart from Logan as soon as their cyclist has left the start line. This will ensure all support vehicles drivethrough Ovid Junction on US-89 before cyclists pass that location.

After supporting cyclist(s) at the Montpelier feed zone, drive NORTH on US-30 to Soda Springs (southbound travel on US-30from Montpelier is not an option)

See below “From Soda Springs” for driving directions in Wyoming

FOR RIDE CREWSLeave Logan northbound on US-91 (Main Street) traveling directly to Preston Feed Zone 1

After supporting in Preston, drive north on US-91 (see page 26 in Event Guide for route options) to arrive at Soda Springs

See below “From Soda Springs” for driving directions in Wyoming

FOR RELAY TEAMSLeave Logan northbound on US-91 (Main Street) traveling directly to Preston Relay Transition Zone 1

After transitioning in Preston, drive north on US-91 (see page 26 in Event Guide for route options) to arrive at Soda Springs. If applicable, drive south to the Montpelier relay transition (TZ2) on US-30. Return to Soda Springs after relay exchange.

See below “From Soda Springs” for driving directions in Wyoming

FOR ALL CREWSFrom Soda Springs:

Drive northeast on SR34 to enter Star Valley via Freedom, Wyoming

Drive either south to Afton or north Alpine via US-89 based upon either your feed zone or relay transition plan

Leave Alpine (Feed Zone 6) for the Finish Line northbound on SR-26 during the hours for 2:30 to 5:00 PM

Crews may drive northeast from Alpine on US-89 through Snake River Canyon if done prior to 2:30 or after 5:00 PM
