‘ I decided to apply to the Crick PhD program because it is a top-level program at one of the biggest research institutes in the world. The project I applied to is a King’s-Crick joint project; which is very exciting because it’s a multidisciplinary project involving developmental biology and statistical physics. I spend a lot of time at both institutions and this has allowed me to attend seminars in diverse topics, and also learn from people with different backgrounds.
