This standar specifies the requirements which signals must fulfil in vertical parameters in indoors of public buildings in order to be understandable for all persons.

Iconic formalization of information. It substitutes a text for an image which

associated to its meaning. It makes possible to inform in an immediate way, through simple elements, a heterogenic group of people, keeping a universal language to

overcome idiomatic, cultural and cognitive barriers.
