The CRL290 Series Top Hung Sliding DoorSystems are a stouter version of our tremendouslypopular CRL285 Series, allowing for panelsweighing up to 264 pounds (120 kg). This newseries also has an improved Softbrake BrakingSystem that can stand up to the demands of doorpanels at the heavier weight, ensuring that you donot have to worry about the doors slamming openor closed! Softbrake cushions the opening andclosing of the doors gently, quietly, and iscompletely concealed inside the header. Softbrakeengages during the last 4" (100 mm) of doortravel, preventing the glass from impacting theframe or adjacent glass panel.
The CRL290 Series offers multiple mountingoptions, is top hung, requires no bottom track, andoperates with smooth, fingertip control. No holes ornotches required, making glass fabrication easyand cost effective. The upper clamp and rollerassemblies have over 1/4" (6 mm) of heightadjustment during installation, allowing for easycorrection of openings that are not true and level.Kits are available in satin anodized and brushednickel anodized finishes.
