UNCG’s Master of Higher Education program
“I’ve enjoyed having my CRL as an instructor. It’s better than having a regular teacher. The fact that I can go downstairs and have a regular or serious conversation makes the relationship easier and less intimidating for the student.”
-DARYNE JENKINS
Housing and Residence Life offers a wide variety of Living-Learning programs: Lloyd International Honors College, Warren Ashby Residential College, Ione Grogan College and Make a Difference House are just a few. Enterprising Facility Goals
...opportunities
Since 2011, UNCG Housing and Residence Life has opened 5 new residence halls and renovated 9 existing halls with plans for more renovations and new construction through 2019. Residence Life and Housing Facilities staff have an intensive and unique experience collaborating through the design, construction and opening phases of these projects. Coordinators for Residence Life have gained knowledge of facility management and have collaborated throughout the entire process to help ensure the success and quality of our housing communities.
“When I learned that I would be part
of the team the re-opened Grogan
Residence Hall in the fall of 2015,
I had no idea what an incredible
experience it would be. Re-opening
a newly renovated residence hall
allowed me to work closely with our
outstanding facilities staff as well as
faculty in Grogan Residential College
to provide a welcoming, comfortable
and co-curricular community for
students. The experience was truly
rewarding. I am grateful for the
opportunity to grow as a professional,
and member of UNCG’s Housing and
