When we launched CRM in 1980, it was with the firm conviction that careful, strategic investment

in the development of leaders for the Church could create an exponential return of transformed

lives and multiplied impact around the world.

More than 30 years into the story, we believe it more than ever.

The following pages describe who we are, how we work, and the ministry outcomes that result.

Good stewardship for us means we communicate these outcomes with transparency and integrity.

CRM has many essential elements, from field staff to support personnel to those who pray and

give to make it all possible. As of this writing, we are more than 10,000 strong. We call this our Community of Transformation and we invite you

to be a part.

Gratefully,Sam Metcalf

CRM envisions movements of fresh, authentic ex-pressions of the Church, pioneered by godly lead-ers, fired by a passion for their world, compelled to multiply their lives and ministry, so that the name of God is renowned among the nations. In ministry contexts around the world, CRM staff pursue this vision through the development of leaders by way of:

The key to the power of CRM’s ministry is some-thing we call leverage.

Leveraged ministry focuses its effort on a few who have the potential to impact many—much like Jesus invested in a small group of disciples who went on to change the entire world.

Bydefinition, leadersarethosewhodirectlyimpactothers through skill, spiritual depth and quality of life. In 2009, CRM staff invested in an estimated 11,000 leaders through training events, retreats, coaching, mentoring, and life-on-life relationships.

Basedonexperience, itisreasonabletoconcludethat one leader directly impacts an average of 50 people in a year, so we can confidently assume that CRM’s ministry to leaders in 2009 alone directly impacted 550,000 people. Such a number is hard to grasp and the indirect outcomes even harder to measure. The facing page contains some snapshots of what this impact looks like in the real world of CRM’s ministry around the globe...
