GeographyDubrovnik- A Croatian city on the Adriatic coast. It is Not only a ,popular tourist attraction but also an Important sea port. There are many historical sites in Dubrovnik.
Rovinj- Rovinj is full of ancient ruins and old churches. During the day the town is very quiet but at night it is very lively.
Lokrum Island- Lokrum Island is a small island of the coast of Croatia. It has beautiful wildlife because no one lives there since Croatians believe it is cursed.
Marjan Peninsula- It is one of the most famous places in Croatia because of its breath taking sights and cafes.

CultureFor day to day people in Croatia wear normal clothes like we do here but
traditional clothing is sometimes worn for festivals.• CROATIAN COOKIE • 2 c. butter• 2 c. ground nuts• 1 jar apricot preserve• 4 egg yolks• 4 c. flour• 1 tsp. vanilla• Cream together butter and sugar until creamy. Add beaten egg, mix in vanilla. Add
flour and mix. Put 1/2 of the dough on a greased cookie sheet. Spread apricot jam, sprinkle rest of dough on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool and cut into 1 inch squares.
• Croatian traditions are dancing, folklore, and singing. A famous Croatian dance is the Moreska that came from Italy and Spain.

VIPStjepan Mesic is Croatia’s VIP. He was president from
2000 to 2010. He is Famous for being one of Croatia’s first presidents.
