Cronkite graduate students have the option of two degree programs, both of which culminate in a high-impact, immersive professional experience.

Students pursuing the Master of Mass Communication may choose from professional programs that include:

• Cronkite News – Broadcast, a daily newscast that airs on Arizona PBS, reaching 1.9 million households

• Cronkite News – Washington Bureau, where students report news of interest to Arizonans

• Cronkite News – Phoenix Bureau, where students cover stories from the statehouse to the U.S.-Mexico border

• Cronkite News Digital Production Bureau, where students serve as Web producers and develop multimedia and social media content for Cronkite News

• Carnegie-Knight News21, where students produce major national investigations in partnership with The Washington Post, NBCnews.com and other major news organizations.

• New Media Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab, where students work with computer engineering, design and business students to create cutting-edge digital products

Students in Sports Journalism may spend a semester in the LA Bureau, covering professional and intercollegiate sports for national and regional media outlets, including the Pac-12 Network.
