Description:
Our challenge was to observe pedestrians crossing the street for 45 minutes. From there, we were to take these observations and culminate them into an anti-binge drinking campaign. Our observations led us to the insight that Chapel Hill pedestrians are too comfortable, and our strategy to prevent anti-binge drinking was to make them uncomfortable.

!2. People are very willing to

break the law to move forward

(we attribute this to impatience)

STRATEGY- make college students more aware of

who they are when they binge-drink

and how their behavior is perceived

!- make college students uncomfortable

#BURST THE BUBBLEWe recognize that UNC is a type of bubble

which fosters behaviors like binge-drinking

(and crossing the road incorrectly)

because they go unpunished.

We want to break this bubble and

introduce the ‘real world’ where

there are immediate consequences

to actions.
