Croup Background
‣ Inflammation of the Larynx and Trachea
‣ Incidence about 3% <6yrs
‣ Para-influenza virus is the most common causative organism
‣ Symptoms include hoarse voice, barking cough and stridor
‣ Treatments; Humidified air, steroids, adrenaline, intubation
