Following Winterfest in January and Countdown to
Valentine’s Day in February, Hallmark Channel
continues to roll-out seasonal programming with
the inaugural Spring Fling event. This event will
feature three world premiere original movies
beginning April 2nd.

Karen Kingsbury’s The Bridge Part 2
Hallmark Movies & Mysteries
Based on Karen Kingsbury’s best selling novel, The
Bridge, Molly (Katie Findlay) and Ryan (Wyatt
Nash), college students from two different worlds,
fell in love at Belmont University in their freshman
year. After unknowingly being manipulated to break
up by Molly’s controlling father, they are reunited at
Christmas, seven years later, to save the bookstore
that changed their lives. Faith Ford and Ted McGinley
also star.

When Calls the Heart commenced its third season
on February 21st to a 1.5 household rating and 1.7
million viewers. The sweeping frontier drama
captured the hearts of millions and became the
network's most social series ever.
When Calls the Heart Season 3 stars Erin Krakow,
Lori Loughlin, Daniel Lissing, Jack Wagner, and
Kristina Wagner.

Kitten Bowl III
Hallmark Channel
The third annual Kitten Bowl event premiered on
Sunday, February 7th, to 2.3 million unduplicated
viewers.
Kitten Bowl III also reached 2.2 million unique
people on Twitter, the highest ever for any Hallmark
Channel program, with 21% more uniques than the
Kitten Bowl II premiere last year. Furthermore, the
Hallmark Channel page reached 2.3 million Facebook
uniques on Sunday, a 33% increase over last year’s
installment.
The Kitten Bowl franchise is a feline catstravaganza
presented in association with North Shore Animal
League America and Last Hope Animal Rescue and
Rehabilitation.
The Kitten franchise returns in August with the

On February 9th, Hallmark Cards, Inc., announced that it has entered into an
agreement with Crown Media Holdings, Inc. for the Hallmark Channel to become the
producer and home for the acclaimed Hallmark Hall of Fame television series. As part of
this agreement, Crown Media Productions, the in-house production unit of Crown
Media, will develop and produce future Hallmark Hall of Fame movies. Hallmark Cards
will continue to sponsor the series and will remain involved in the creative process,
including approving scripts that build upon the series’ reputation for movies that
entertain, enlighten and inspire.

Countdown to Valentine’s Day

For three weeks leading up to Valentine’s Day,
Hallmark Channel celebrated the month of love and
friendship with Countdown to Valentine’s Day. The
five original movie premieres combined reached more
than 8.9 million unduplicated total viewers.
Dater’s Handbook (1/30/16): Averaged a 1.8 HH rtg
All Things Valentine (1/31/16): Averaged a 1.6 HH rtg
Appetite for Love (2/6/16): Averaged a 2.1 HH rtg
Valentine Ever After (2/13/16): Averaged a 2.3 HH rtg
Anything for Love (2/14/16): Averaged a 1.9 HH rtg

The most recent installment of the Signed, Sealed,
Delivered: From the Heart, premiered on
February 21st to 1.0 household rating and 807,000
viewers, becoming the highest rated and most
watched February movie premiere in network
history.*
The franchise follows the lives of postal workers
who transform themselves into an untraditional
team of detectives to track down intended
recipients of undeliverable mail.
