Midterm project by

Introduction
When I started this project I had some idea of what to expect but now that I’m
finished I get a better understanding of how much thought is put into the creative
process. Designing is not an easy task and pleasing your client is not easy also. I had to
stay in contact with client so that they could see the progress and also try to create their
vision of what they would like their logo to look like. They have to sign off on what the
final product will be and also love it. I created a logo, business card, t-‐shirt, and online
banner for Crush.N.Glam Company and my partner created a RFP and Schedule.
First, I would like to tell you a little about Crush.N.Glam is named for its appeal to
both edgy and elegant consumers alike, Crush.n.Glam is an online boutique dedicated to
providing an exclusive shopping experience to those who possess a keen sense of style.
With a focus on flirty tops and bold accessories, Crush.n.Glam fuses urban chic and high
fashion by providing contemporary statement pieces at affordable prices. Crush.n.Glam
is perfect for the trendsetters who flaunt their style effortlessly. Therefore, this is why I
design the logo using the lips with “flirty pink” color and soft gray for the beauty mark
and text. My client loved their logo and wanted it placed on their business card, t-‐shirts,
and online banner.

Conclusion
Working on this project as given us a little knowledge of how things work from the production aspect and also from a designer aspect as well. We both think that communication is very important and proper organization; I think that because of our busy work schedule it took a lot more out of us to get this project done the way we both wanted it. But in the end I think that it came together well and everything was worth it.
Christopher:
Looking at this project from a production point of view I feel that researching and making those calls to the right company and pricing is important. Also I think speaking with the client and making sure that they can handle any changes and to see if it’s with in their budget because after all making the client happy is one of the most important things in business. Furthermore, it wasn’t in the budget and they loved what we had so far.
Hortensio:
"As a designer working on this project; I learned that clear communication between your team and client is of extreme importance. On projects there are usually so many people involved and lines of communication can become stagnant and inaccurate. It's important to be a liaison between the client and production team."
