ApplicationEspecially adapted to machine-tool service or any applicationwhere oil or coolant is present. The convenient one-hole mountingmakes this line suitable for general-purpose use in equipment ofall kinds where panel mounting is possible. This line is ideal forapplications where oil-tightness, water-tightness and long lifeare essential. All units are suitable for use in NEMA Type 1, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12, and13 applications when mounted in enclosures rated for those sameapplications. The exception is CR104PTP units, which are suitablefor Type 1 , 1 2 , and 13 applications only. Although not needed on allType 4X applications, protective caps provide improved resistanceto some corrosive materials. They are not required by UL.
