TERMS OF SALE

1. All lots are sold · to the highest bidder, and must be taken up and paid for within five days of receipt, the same as any other public auction sale, unless other arrang·ement is made before sale.

2. Successful mail bidders, unless they are known to us or supply ac~ cepta:ble references · will be notified of the 11mount of the · lots se­cured f·or them, an'd are expected to send payment in full before the lots are . forwarded.

3. Lots incorrectly described must be returned within THREE DAYS from date of receipt, and no claims will be entertained beyond this time. Lo-ts· containing five or more stamps are not returnable on account of minor defects, and no lots are returnable by bidders, who have had the privilege of examining lots before sale.

4. All stamps are gttaranteed genuine. Should any lot prove other­wise, purchase price will be returned .

5 . The right is reserved to withdraw any lot offered.

6. No commission is charged for executing bids, but the cost of for­warding lots will be added to the bill.

7. Stamps on exhibition at our office, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, one week before sale.
