How to Spot fake Moldavite

New, ake Moldavite is hitting the market rom China, in more shapes - probablyrom molds - notice the wet, shiny melted glass look; this should be a dead giveaway.Its easy to tell the dierence i you know what you are looking or. Look at thepieces on this page and then compare with the real Moldavites pictured on thenext page.Unortunately I would recommend to Avoid dealers rom China & hailandonline i their products look like the pieces on this page, and i its much cheaperthan other dealers (though some are now charging top dollar or this ake stu).his is primarily being seen on sites like ebay & DHgate and even Amazon.

Recently, I walked up the street to Colgate University and met with the GeologyChairman , William Peck, to use a very cool piece o equipment. A hand heldX-Ray Analyzer. We tested some Real Moldavites and a couple ake piecesrom Hong Kong. Here are the akes, the bigger one is the one that goes withthe scan pics o the analyzer. he results show very high Lead levels (Pb) andMuch lower Silicon (Si) and other dierences than real Moldavite."he irst is the lat oval ake one. It is only 48% SiO2, while real natural

moldavite is in the range 72-80 wt%. It has undetectable or almost no Fe, Zr, ori, while some o those elements is always seen in natural moldavite. Al is also very low. he most interesting thing is that there is 24 wt% Pb, 1.8 wt% As, and2900 ppm Cl in the ake piece, while there is almost none o these elements inthe natural moldavite. It also has 8.7 % K2O, which is about 3x the amount inthe natural samples. he second ake is the cut one. It is totally dierent romthe irst ake. he SiO2 is similar to natural moldavite (77% SiO2), but hasundetectable or almost no Fe, Zr, i, or K. Al is also very low. It doesn't have thePb or As o the other ake, but does have high Cl (3800 ppm)." - William Peck,

hailand with certiications! It has good color but is virtuallylawless, with none o the tell-tale signs o Moldavite, although

some are starting to use glass material with bubbles but thecolor is way o. hese are all over ebay as well. his is why a certiicate is really worthless. It allcomes down to research and inding a trusted source. he only certiications I would trust are romthe GIA.I saw this material in ucson 2 years ago when a well known dealer rom hailand tried selling me acouple thousand dollars in large aceted stones. Natural Moldavite is never as lawless as these glassones, and there are usually swirls, bubbles and/or waves o some kind.

Grie visits all o us sooner or later. Sometimes it presents itsel as intense sadness, sometimesas despair, sometimes it’s an aching emptiness that we are sure will never go away. One thingis certain – how each o us deals with grie and loss is unique and personal. Never let anyone tellyou what “should” happen or tell you “it’s time to get on with your lie”. Tis is an intensely personalourney that may only be walked by the individual.

here have been many times in the past 18 months when I really wished I had not worked so hardduring my CR training to remove the barriers I had created to block my emotions! I lost a younger

sister, very suddenly, to cancer in October, 2013 and lost my husband to a dierent type o cancerin July, 2014. he emotional storm that enguled me when my husband was diagnosed in June, justour weeks beore he died, was not something or which I was prepared or equipped to navigate.Because I lived in a town away rom my immediate amily, and with only a ew close personal riends,

I reached or the stones that drew me to them. he irst stone that oereditsel as an anchor in the storm was my Smoky Elestial Quartz. It was oneo the irst stones I bought a ew years beore I even knew stones could beused or healing, long beore my CR training. It just always interestedme and I loved to hold it in my hand.

Ater John died, I ound mysel sitting or long periods o time, staringo into space and crying. As I started to hold the smoky quartz in myhand whenever I would sit down, its energy helped ground me and bringme back to the present moment. Its energy had a strong, stable and

protective eeling which I really ound comorting in those early days o learning how to cope on myown. Students, clients, riends and skeptics invariably ask me i there is any objective (aka scientiic)evidence that “invisible” energy therapy modalities actually work. One o the most attractive beneits o using crystals and stones is that the user doesn’t have to besophisticated regarding their properties to receive beneits rom them. hat’s why jewelry can be givento others or clients can simply relax on a massage table and receive crystal therapy without needing tounderstand the properties o the various stones they are experiencing. Further, even crystal workersthemselves need not necessarily explore the subject deeper than to understand the properties o theindividual stones that they are working with and how they combine them with other stones.

But, i you are the type o person who really likes to master your tools, there are underlying principlesregarding the use o crystals or transormative/therapeutic purposes that can make your workconsiderably more powerul, eective, and even saer. In this article I will cover the three energeticconditions that you will inevitably encounter when you are using stones to create transormation oryoursel or others.

he three energetic conditions you will encounter are: 1. Flowing 2. Congested or 3. Depleted. hesethree conditions pretty much cover what is going on with any area that your or your client are tryingto make better.

Flowing - When something is lowing, it is usually going well, whether it is a person’s physical healthrelationships, or even their prosperity. Conditions that are lowing rarely require intervention orintererence; you simply let them be.

Congestion-However, when things aren’t going right they typically become congested, meaning thatthey stop moving naturally and begin backing up. Ofen, congestions build around a core trauma orstuck point that results in a blockage. A congested area that is unresolved will ofen invite disease anddisorder due to the lack o replenishment and rejuvenation or the affected area. Physically, a bad head

cold is a classic example o congestion, where the person suffers rom a stuffy head, swollen sinuses,and aches and pains brought on by the toxicity o the condition. In lie, an example o a congested areamight be an employee who has worked or a company too long under harsh and negative conditionswithout any change. Te stuck circumstances will result in negative eelings, a loss o hope and moralereduced productivity, and even physical and other lie challenges or the employee.

Congested conditions are dangerous because untreated they continue to become more dense andtoxic until the system can inally no longer tolerate the congestion. At that point they rupture and canproduce catastrophic consequences. Our imaginary employee stuck in a demoralizing dead-end job

might become involved in a serious automobile accident that prevents him rom working, in eectreleasing the congested work environment condition through a negative lie experience.

Congestions are very common and may be too easily overlooked by stone workers. he reason or thiss that congestions may hide or not be obvious within a system. Congestions can result rom emotional,

mental, or spiritual stuck points that the client would rather not notice. As a crystal practitioner it isour job then to observe what the client may have overlooked.

You usually only energize/stimulate a congestion briely to get it to begin releasing. You would neveruse a power crystal such as clear quartz to continuously stimulate a congested area- that is asking or

rouble. Congestions also respond well to stones that help to draw away negativity and toxins, such aslack tourmaline or obsidian.

Depletion- In natural systems, when other parts o the system are congested or out o balance it isommon or a dierent area to become depleted. Depletions result rom an area not receiving enoughnergy or support. Depletion is thereore exactly what you would expect: weakness, a lack o energynd vitality, instability, and ragility. Depletions oten produce a malunctioning within an associatedrea. Imagine a stream that becomes blocked o in a dierent location. As the stream dries up the

wildlie vanishes and the stream becomes dry and barren.

Depleted conditions are usually easy to notice in any area because the alicted zone begins to withernd unctions stop working properly. As a physical example, a person suering rom memory loss

would indicate a depletion. However, it’s important to understand that, although depletions are usuallybvious and seem to be the real problem, they are typically symptomatic and won’t stably resolve ireated by themselves without addressing the blockages and other actors within the system producinghe depletions. hus, the rule or depletions is to always treat them in combination with other systemicmbalances.

Addressing the three energetic conditions:As crystal and stone workers, you will encounter these three conditions within yoursel and othersonstantly. I you begin noticing which areas are lowing, congested, or depleted, you will be able to

more intelligently ormulate a plan to help problem areas improve. Here are a ew guidelines to helpou integrate crystals into working with these three conditions.

. Do NO automatically deault towards stimulating anything and everything using power crystalsll o the time. Congested areas when energized at irst resist and then move towards a crisis pointhat can become seriously destabilized. Even apparently benign tools such as crystal grids, crystal

mpliiers, and powerul stones worn as jewelry should always be applied mindully and with skill.

. As a companion to the above point, many people automatically gravitate towards energizing anrea that they perceive to be in a state o lack, which is a orm o depletion. Energizing depletionslone may produce short term results but rarely resolve circumstances stably throughout the entireystem. Let’s imagine a crystal worker who has economic challenges rom an insuicient income.

Our hypothetical person constructs a crystal grid to stimulate her prosperity. I all goes well, aterperiod o time she might indeed experience an increase in her inancial circumstances. However,

his positive result will likely be short-lived. he reason or this is that most depletions are the result one or more congestions located elsewhere. Because depletions and lack are easy to identiy our

natural tendencies are to treat the depleted area and overlook the associated congestions. So, our

crystal worker continues to use crystal grids and other tools to stimulate her depleted prosperity, butnever receives a completely satisying outcome that sustains over time.

3. here are also risks that accumulate rom energizing depleted areas repeatedly. When you energizea depleted area, some o the energy adds to the congested areas that are unresolved within the systemhese in turn become more swollen and solid. At some point, the congested areas may dischargein a negative manner that can be surprising and possibly even dangerous. As a crystal worker, you

might experience a baling “lashback”, where you get a negative result that seems to be linked tothe crystal work you were trying to perorm but clearly isn’t what you were intending to produce.Such experiences are warnings that congested areas are being overlooked and are at risk o becomingseriously destabilized. Pay attention and be careul i this occurs.

4. he remedy or most congestions is to release their masses, empty them out and let them rebalanceo eect a complete healing it is necessary to release the core trauma or stuck point. he resultantdischarge can be unpleasant i the congested area has been overlooked and ignored or a long periodo time. Some o the congested material may have become toxic, which can release physical, mental,

emotional, spiritual, and even circumstantial negativity into the environment. Seriously congestedareas may require multiple treatments and also should be released slowly.

5. You can rapidly accelerate progress in a person by combining a release o congested areas with gentlestimulation o depleted areas. As the system begins to low and rebalance, you can then add resonantstones to strengthen the area or shit its vibrational pattern.

I you are creating crystal grids or laying stones or a person, be mindul o whether your intention isto stimulate an area, release congestions, help create motion in a stagnant area, or maniest something

new. he stones will orm a network together in oten complex patterns. Your responsibility as a crystalworker is to use the stones in a harmonious manner that creates balance where imbalances existedbeore. By understanding the three energetic conditions, observing the area where you are workingand applying the correct energetic remedy or the problem, your crystal creations can be much moreeective.

Learning from your work

 with S.O.A.P. notes

he single most important tool I use in my healing work is not a stone, an energy, or a healing technique. It is the clinica

.O.A.P. (session) note. I know that doesn't sound particularly sexy, but it is the clinical session note that has allowed mo develop my understanding o crystal healing and energy work, as well as developing my skills as a healing acilitatorhrough the use o clinical notes and comparative analysis o healing sessions, I've come to see patterns in energy that

would otherwise have overlooked entirely. I've learned to perceive what the stones are doing to a client during a healinession, and what they are attempting to communicate to me. Clinical session notes have made me a better healer and aetter healing acilitator or my clients.

Unortunately, the use o clinical session notes is very nearly unheard o in most energy healing modalities. I was ortunato learn their use very early on in my training in clinical massage therapy. Even ater transitioning to ull time energy healin

work, I continued to use clinical session notes to keep track o all aspects o a healing session, and to do comparative analysietween healing sessions or my clients.

Why should you think about using clinical session notes in your vibrational healing practice? Simply put, it will make you etter healer. It will give you insight into your healing work that you would not otherwise have. It will enable you to aciliatour clients more deeply and to help them address energy patterns that may not yet be maniest or symptomatic, but that wilause problems i they remain untreated. Session notes can also help you to work more eectively with other practitioner

when clients are receiving dierent types o support or an issue. For instance, a client may receive physical therapy or orn muscle, but they may also be receiving Reiki, crystal healing or accupuncture or the same problem. Having clinicaession notes allows you to share your therapy insights with that client's other care providers (i the client requests it), thunhancing their care and your cross-modality cooperation and knowledge.

he clinical session note can be as simple or as complex as you like. A basic session note ormat is the S.O.A.P note ormahat developed out o the POMR (problem oriented medical record) created by Dr. Lawrence Weed to record client noteor medical records. S.O.A.Ps are the standard session note ormat used or many dierent types o health care records.O.A.P stands or "Subjective", "Objective", "Assessment" and "Plan". hese our sections will cover most o what you wil

want to keep track o or a healing session.

he Subjective portion o the clinical S.O.A.P note is where you would make a note o what the client tells you about whhey are seeking treatment. his might include symptoms they are experiencing physically or in their lie experience

Generally, when you ask the question, "what can I do or you today?" or "why are you wanting a session today?", the answewill go here. his section can also include eedback the client gives you about what they noticed during the session itsel.

he Objective portion o the S.O.A.P is or you to record what you notice. I the client says they are eeling great, or instanceut they seem to be presenting with low or depressed energy, you would make a note o that here. So, essentially, this section or what you notice about the client during intake or ater the session.

he Assessment portion o the S.O.A.P is or actual session notes. his is what occurred during the session, includingbservations you make about the client's energy, guidance you may receive, or to write down which stones or other toolsou used during the session.

he Plan portion o the S.O.A.P can include those things that you would like the client to do to continue their healingutside o the session. For instance, you may recommend a particular meditation or exercise. Or, you may ask them tontinue working with a particular stone or to take a gem elixir. You could also make notes here o uture appointments or

ecommended appointment requency.

So, now you have your session note, how do you use it? hat really depends on thetype o practice you have. At the very least, it is a good idea to review a prior sessionor a client just beore they arrive or their next session. his will remind you owhat the client was experiencing prior to their last session, so that you can checkwith them on their progress around that symptom or issue. his is hugely importanwhen identiying and working on deeper patterns beyond the "chakra balancing"treatment model. Capturing subtle inormation can lead you to big breakthroughin ongoing therapy with a client.

his also helps the client to eel more valued, heard and understood. Letting them know that you remember what they werexperiencing beore, and asking them about their progress around that issue, helps the client to be more aware o ongoingssues as well. his can help them to become more responsible in their sel-healing by making them more conscious oubtle imbalances that they may not have recognized as ongoing patterns.

n crystal therapies, keeping track o the crystals used in a session can also be very helpul. I'm sure you've noticed when alient seems to get the same stone in session ater session, but are you noticing where that stone is placed, i it is moving upr down the body, or appearing in multiple locations? All o that inormation can be illuminating in understanding whahe stones are trying to show you about the client's energy and progress.

Comparative analysis between client sessions can also help you to understand their ongoing progress, identiy which energyatterns are truly being resolved and which are chronic imbalances, identiy new patterns that are arising, and help thelient to perceive progress that they may have overlooked. It gives an excellent way o dialoguing with your client about thehits that have occurred through the work that go beyond just "eeling better" ater a session. Very oten, a client may noe ully aware o the progress they've made through ongoing sessions. It is natural or a client to be in an altered state duringhealing session, and to orget what happened in the session soon aterward. By asking your client about their experiencend recording those notes, you'll be able to reresh your client's memory later and to bring to their awareness importantxperiences that they may have orgotten.

n my Crystal Resonance herapy M training program, it is not unusual or students to have a three or our page S.O.A.Pote or a session, including a session analysis chart. While this may seem like a whole lot o work or a session that is

lready done and dusted, these session notes are instrumental in their ability to understand what is going on with thelient on much deeper levels than they would be able to perceive otherwise. hey use these S.O.A.P notes to create caseistories with a client and to track them over multiple sessions and months o ongoing treatment. I have hundreds o thesease histories that have contributed hugely to my knowledge as a therapist and a teacher. It is amazing to me how muchumulative knowledge is being lost simply by not using the most basic o session notes in energy therapy.

It is important to note that your healing session notes do not belong to you. hey belongto the client about whom you are writing. It is entirely within the client's rights to ask orcopies o your clinical notes about their sessions, and these should absolutely be providedto them. You are also responsible or maintaining the privacy and security o your client'private inormation, so basic privacy and security practices need to be observed around

any client paperwork.

It is also best to save your note taking or ater the session, rather than making a lot o notewhile trying to talk to your client. Every ourth or ith session, take time to compare your session notes or your client toind patterns. Discuss your indings with your client and use them as a basis or more ocused ongoing energy therapy. Bu

most o all, use them or your own learning so that you can become the best possible healing acilitator you can be, anderve others in the best and highest way.
