    Browsing Through WebXL / Links

Pages are accessed using hypertext links.

These are easily identified as the wordings and headers used as links are underlined as any internet page

    link.

These are links to the last

    accessed concepts

Browsing Through WebXL / Scroll Down Menus

The icon is directly set into the field. It is the usual scroll down menus the user may be used to as these exist

    in many other softwares.

These lists display the information contained in the repositories, and more precisely the data entered in the

dictionary (user accessible lists and closed lists).

Browsing Through WebXL / WebXL Search Tool1/5

This is known as a WebXL Search.

This kind of list does not display data from the dictionary, but data fed by the user at various stages in the

    software such as :

plan names that have been created

    program names of created programs

    section names of created sections

This tool can be used in 3 different ways, where as the regular scroll down menu only displays the whole list

    of information available within it.

Browsing Through WebXL / WebXL Search Tool 2/5

The user can click on the icon enabling the list to be displayed below the field, use the scroll on the right to

access the correct record, before double clicking on it to select it

However when lots of data exists, this can take quite some time.

A user may also click on the icon to open up the list and start typing the first letters or numbers of the

    record to be found.

This filters the search perimeter but the characters must be entered in the proper order. If not, the list

    closes up.

Of course, it is possible to use the scroll on the right to select one record after having applied such a filter.

    2004 has been typed,

    therefore two entries are retrieved

This is done using the %symbol.

There is another way to browse within the concepts.

Under the general menu bar, the links First, Previous, Next and Last appear. These options are active when at least one ofthem is displayed in black type.

The act of clicking on Activate browsing renders browsing accessible. The hypertext links appear in black, revealing their

    activity.

Browsing Through WebXL / WebXL Explorer 1/8

The organisation of concepts within WebXL is conceived as a tree structure.

In most concepts, a WebXL Explorer button allows viewing this structure and navigating through it.

Initially, the structure of the concepts is not displayed (only the cedants appear).

The hierarchy differentiates between cessions, facultatives and active R/I via tabs.

    The claim was originally 15 000 and increased by a new 30 000 which would gives a total estimate of 15 000 + 30 000 + 20 000 of 65 000.
