Parents should ask the screening yes-or-no questions from The Colombia Protocol to identify is someone is in crisis, and they should not worry that asking about suicide will put the idea into their chil- dren’s heads. Message from the Principal Dear Stallions, As we return from Spring Break, we enter the fourth and final marking period for this school year. Please review all of our up- coming events and dates for our Stal- lion Camps. Teachers and students continue to maintain our focus on teaching, learning, and achieving, even as we prepare for the upcoming state assessments. I feel confident our students are well- prepared and will continue to build upon our tradition of excellence. We will begin testing in May. There are still many opportunities to get involved here at CSMS. Clubs are still going strong and are always welcoming new mem- bers. To find out about specific clubs, you can view the CSMS Live Stream informational slide show from our school website (under Quick Links). The PTA is also always looking for additional support with their many initia- tives. PTA meetings follow the monthly SAC meetings.
