a. Explain how the community in which you worked benefited from your project.
The Hellshire community got a visual and mental facelift. The youths that were once
nuisances to the community have now understood themselves and their purpose
and are now making better use of their time. They have also seen it necessary to
continue the beautification projects started by this community service venture.
b. State whether the organization would benefit from having more CSP projects
completed. Suggest the kind of activities which would assist the
organization/community in which you worked, based on your experience there.
The organization would definitely benefit from having more CSP projects because
CSP is compulsory in academia for University students and when carried out they
can see the important value of volunteerism that they would not have been exposed
to without CSP. Activities that would help the community are beatification projects
because the community is somewhat visually deprived because of neglect and
frustration from residents. When the community if visually pleasing to the eyes it
lifts the morals of the residents and that fosters better neighbourhood relations.
c. Describe your achievements.
My achievements were not what is important on this venture as it was not done
with the goal of achieving any instrumental good. However, achievemtns were that
the spirit of the community has been renewed and the programs and efforts carried
have a lifelong impact of all who were involved, ranging from the adults who
despised the youths and who thought no one had any confidence that they are
capable of doing anything worthwhile/
