Why we made two adaptations for RNC?

mcRNC and IPA-RNC will be developed in the NE side so far from each other.They are two different products.

It was estimated that Configurator would better work with two adaptations thanone. There would have been so much dependencies with one adaptation thatthose would have been difficult to handle. Now we dont have to care about thedependencies. Both have own adaptations.

In the UI side we did not wanted to show mcRNC and IPA-RNC as separated.They wanted to be seen as one RNC.

New adaptation for mcRNC: com.nsn.mcrnc IPA-RNC adaptation: NOKRNC

mcRNC IP data adaptation: com.nsn.mcrncipa (Done in CD1)

What is changed in operator workflow point ofview

IPA-RNC and mcRNC are seen as RNC. mcRNC IP data isseen under MCIPL.

IPA-RNC and mcRNCs are separated with tooltips

Supported mcRNC version: mcRN1.0

COCO and PREBTS objects removed from mcRNC RNWobject model. Othewise the same objects than in IPA-RNC.

mcRNC IP fragment totally different than in IPA-RNC.

OMS upload cannot be done for IPA or mcRNC in OSS5.3

Remember that csv profiles need to have new adaptation

defined for mcRNC MOs (com.nsn.mcrnc). Old IPA-RNCprofiles cannot be used for mcRNCs.

Editor the correct version and type for mcRNC. If the wrongversion and type is used, mcRNCs are not visible in CM Editor.

How to show/enable the hidden Queued Operations tab in CMOperations Manager. Actually it's not even hidden, it's notconstructed at all if following variable is not set.Define new User variable in Windows system properties:

Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -tab -> Environment Variables -button -> User variables for New -button:

Variable name: JAVAWS_VM_ARGS

Variable value: -Dracpmg.show.queued.operations.tab=true

And another useful not-normally-visible-feature is the onewhich add's lab's name to UI title, enabled in the same wayexcept in case the queue stuff is already there, add new valueseparated by space after the queue stuff in the same variable,the whole string being:

Dracpmg.show.queued.operations.tab=true -Dracpmg.lab.name.to.title=true
