AAI student joins college choir Emily Hathorn of Middle Island and a junior at the State University of New York at Binghamton , is among the 13 new members of the University ' s Harpur Chorale , a select concert choir. Ms Hathorn , an alto , was chosen on the basis of an audition . Trained largel y as an " a cappella " choir , the Chorale sings a variety of music and tours annually in the easteuj Atlantic states and in Canada. Beginning December 28 , the Harpur Ch orale will be on concert tour in eastern Europe , including cities in Hungary, Austri a , Germany and Luxembourg. The bride is the former Barbara Gale Vineyard , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Vineyard of Bell port. HIRSCHKORN - VINEYARD Un d er a canopy of pine trees at the edge of Stoney Lake in On- tario , Canada , Barbara Gale Vineyard , daughter Mr. and Mrs. George Vineyaru of South Brewster Lane , Bell port , became the bride of Mark Hirschkorn, son of Mr. and Mrs Mitchel Hirschkorn of Blue Point , at the bride ' s family summer home , on August 28 at 5:30 p.m. Given in marriage by their parents the couple was united at a famil y wedding ceremony . Miss Joan Patricia Hirsch- korn , sister of the groom , was maid of honor and David Grossman of New York City was best man Cousins of the bride - the Misses Gail and Kitty Vineyard , were flower girls. Ushers were uncles of the bride , Benjamin Vineyard and Barkley Vineyard For the ceremony, performed in the hushed and hol y at- mosphere provided by tall , northern pines , with flute music by Telemann in the background , the bride wore a French cotton , hand-embroidered dress made from fabric belonging to her paternal grandmother and designed by Margaret Bachman , a studen t at the Rhode Island School of Design. Mr. and Mrs. Hirschkorn had wed on August 20 at a legal ceremony performed in Watertown in the presence of John Aylward , judge of the Jefferson County Court. A reception for family and friends was held on September 11 at the bride 's hom e in Bellport. Mr. Hirschkorn is a fourth year medical student at NYU. He is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University . Mrs. Hirschkorn graduated from Sarah Lawrence College as a dance major . She is now a teacher of the Alexander Techni que. Amara Enid Rosario Mr. and Mrs . Udeth Rosario of 260 Waverly Ave., Patchogue , announce the engagement of their daughter , Amara Enid , to Jose Antonio Rivera , son of Mr. and Mrs. Benito Rivera of Utuado , Puerto Rico. Amara is a 1972 graduate of Patchogue High School . She is employed by ILC Data Levice Corporation of Bohemia. Jose Antonio is a graduate >f Utuado High Scfuk- in Puerto Rico. He is employed by Lawrence Aviation Industries in Port Jefferson . The wedding has been set for December . Mr. and Mr. Charles R. Hed- berg of We sthampton Beach have announced the engagement of their daughter , Victoria Elizabeth , to Raymon d B. Ceruti , son of Mrs. Lucille Ceruti of Eastport and William T. Ceruti of Riverhead. Miss Hedberg has entered her senior year at Westhampton Beach High School . Mr. Ceruti , a 1974 graduate of the SUNY Agricultural and Technical College at Alfred , received an associate in applied science degree. He is employed at Rolle Brothers in Riverhead. The wedding is planned for the summer of 1977. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Habel of Patchogue announce the engagement of their daughter , Cheryl , to Robert Mundy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Mundy of Bay Shore. No date has been set for the wedding. TOGETHER FOREVER - Mr. and Mrs. Jerry J. Leon are shown here after the ceremony on July 10 which solemnized their nuptials. Mrs. Leon is the former Catherine Lange of Patchogue. LEON - LANGE Mr. and Mrs . Ernest Lange of Patchogue have announced the marriage of their daughter , Catherine, to Jerry J. Leon , son of Mr. and Mrs. George Leon of Patchogue, in a July 10 ceremony performed by the Rev. William Meyer at the Emanual Lutheran Church of Patchogue. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her sister , Mrs. Marilyn VanDoran , was matron of honor . Miss Carol Minaudo of Patchogue and Mrs. Jeanette Benedict of Medford were bridesmaids. The bride ' s niece , Miss Kimberly Merza of Schenectady was junior bridesmaid. Frank Zampariello of Pat- chogue served as besf man for the groom and the ushers were Roy Mptt and Gary Rooney , both of Patchogue. Following a reception for 200 guests at Felice ' s of Patchogue , the couple spen t five days on Cape Cod . Mrs . Leon is employed by Suffolk County and Mr. Leon owns a foreign car repair shop . The couple is residing in Patchogue. For the month of September, the art exhibit at the Congregational Ch urch of Pat- chogue is by Emily Czaja and Kari Kaczmarek . Visitors may view the exhibit following the 10:30 a.m. wor ship service on Sundays or weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Emily Czaja , a native Bellporter , has always enjoyed crafts , drawing and painting . During the past 10 years, she has studied with Ruth and Gerald Grace , Jodie Love and Alan Feit. She also had art instructions from Edgar Whitney od Douglaston and from Robert E. Wood of California , both of whom are renowned A.W.S. water- colorists . She has won many awards and ribbons in various art shows , and her numerous one woman shows have been suc- cessful and well received. Her paintings and drawings are on display in many areas of Lon g Island. Her latest efforts have included the printing of her first coloring book for all ages . Kari Kaczmarek of Sa yville , watercolorist , has studied painting with Harry Stermberg of the Art Students League , drawing and sculpture with Junious Redwood and watercolors with Kenneth Wilkinsen. She is president of the Wet Paints Studio group of Sayville and was co-owner of the Sayville Walk-Up Art Gallery . Kari is also a member of Lake Art Association and Suburban Art League. She has shown her work at the Grainery Gallery in Nantucke t , Isli p Town Gallery, Sayville Walk Up Gallery , Islip and Sayville Public Libraries , and has won numerous ribbons and awards in shows throughout Long Island .
