CTL Survey for Early Feedback on Remote Learning There are a number of resources at the Canvas Commons site for quizzes and surveys that you can give to your students to get feedback about online instruction, course changes, etc. These surveys are available at the “Commons” area of Canvas. The screenshots below direct you on how to include the standard questions prepared by CTL. Once in Commons, you can search for CTL or remote learning, and you will find it.

CTL Survey for Early Feedback on Remote Learning
There are a number of resources at the Canvas Commons site for quizzes and surveys that you can give
to your students to get feedback about online instruction, course changes, etc. These surveys are
available at the “Commons” area of Canvas. The screenshots below direct you on how to include the
standard questions prepared by CTL.
Once in Commons, you can search for CTL or remote learning, and you will find it.
This will add the survey to the Canvas sites that you selected, and it will automatically appear in
the Quizzes section of your course.
Click as many
courses as
you want
Go to your Canvas site homepage and click “Student View” to see how the survey will appear to
your students
If you don’t see Quizzes in “Student View”, that means the tool is disabled in the course. You
must enable it before your students can take the survey.
To enable Quizzes in your course, please follow the steps below:
1. Go to settings for your Canvas site
2. Go to Navigation
3. Drag “Quizzes” option from the lower table to the upper table. Then, click “Save.”
