The Arrow L-Series 795 engine is a low-to-medium-speed heavy-duty twin-cylindertwo-cycle horizontal-type gas engine. Thetwo-cycle engine completes its work cycleof compression, ignition, power and exhaustin two strokes, or one revolution of thecrankshaft. The L-Series uses two cylinders,therefore, there are two power strokes foreach revolution of the crankshaft.

LubricationFull pressure lubrication with a gear drivenoil pump and a full flow replaceable oil filterassures engine longevity. Oil can be addedthrough our unique oil filter while the engineis running. There is also a sight glass forchecking the oil level while the engine is inoperation. An additional lubricator is providedfor longer cylinder and ring life.

Safety ControlsSafety controls are standard and provideengine shutdown preventing damage causedby low oil pressure, low water level, and on2-cylinder models, an overspeed switch isstandard.

The L-795 No-Flow Safety Shutdown Systemis designed to protect the engine cylindersin the event of lubricator system failure. Iflubricator failure occurs, the No-Flow

Safety Switch will sense the lack of oilflow and ground the engines

ignition system. CarburetionAll engines have instantaneousgovernor adjustments to maintain aconstant engine RPM. Impco style carburetorsare standard on allArrow engines.

Cooling SystemThermo-syphon cooling is standard on allL-Series engines.

Main Components

The connecting rods are saddle mounted tothe crosshead pin for more bearing surface.All models utilize an exhaust pipe flange toeliminate exhaust pipes stuck in cylinder heads.

Starting12V ring gear starters available on L-795engines.
