CTWR 435 Writing For Film and Television Genres Topics for Spring 2017 The Contained Feature – 4 units #19333D – Tuesdays – 1-3:50pm – Robinson Students will develop and write an original feature-length screenplay that is “contained” in regards to its location. Students will learn how to be creative within the limitation of location by focusing on characters, inter-personal relationships, rising tension, and obstacles within the space. Examples: Dog Day Afternoon, Breakfast Club, Disturbia, Die Hard, Air Force One, Silent House, Collateral, Devil, Phone Booth, and 127 Hours. The Contained Feature – 4 units #19333D – Tuesdays – 1-3:50pm – Robinson

Students will develop and write an original feature-length screenplay that is “contained” in regards to its location. Students will learn how
