Cub’s attention to detail is paramount shown in the unique heavy duty mainframe design
using plate in the main chassis floor to minimize any twisting of weak points and using all
stainless steel bolts. High density nylon strips are then mounted to the main plate giving no
maintenance trouble free operating. With up to 15 greasing points - Cub Spreaders have
all the extras.
Cub’s wide opening hoppers (2.5m for the 4000 and 2.7m for the 6000) make loading
simple with front end loaders.
The design of the polyethylene hopper with it’s steep sides assists in keeping the product
flowing, also reducing tare weight to lessen soil compaction on soft ground.
Concaved spinner discs made of hardened stainless steel have adjustable stainless steel
flights giving an excellent delivery at the recommended optimum speed of 800-1000 RPM.
Simple connection to tractor hydraulics giving hydraulic engagement of ground drive
spinners.
Motors are both fully protected with the relief valve and fully adjustable speed regulation
valve fitted.
The rate of material flow is governed by the rear door operation, with easy wind down
adjustment giving flow rates from approximately 20kg/per hectare up to 2500kg/per
hectare (4000 model) and 3500kg/per hectare (6000 model).
