Tour and Trip Alterations: Changes in program may occur due to bad weather conditions and guests are requested to be flexible when safety factors prevail. If major changes are necessary while the tour is in progress, the additional costs, if any, are the responsibility of the traveller.Sometimes guests may be invited to join interesting local events. Such unexpected changes actually enhance the program, as guests get a more authentic insight into local life.Physical exertion: Generally there is no extreme physical exercise required, but sometimes we walk over hills or cross wet terrain. You should be able to complete walks of a few hours duration so a reasonable level of fitness is required. You should meet the schedule of the tour each day, but if you feel tired you can stay at the guest house instead of walking.

Some Advice:  Packing for your trip and seasonal climate:  We recommend that you bring only one main piece of baggage and a backpack. Don’t overload yourself, as you are expected to carry your own luggage. We also recommend comfortable walking boots for trekking, and trainers/sandals or comfortable shoes for general travel. In Romania, the temperature during the summer time is high, but variations occur between night and day. We recommend you pack summer clothing, a sun hat, but also bring a warm sweater and a windproof/waterproof jacket.Because in some of our tours we visit caves we recommend having a torch with you.Always have a bottle of water with you to prevent dehydration in hot weather. You might find an insect repellent useful on some occasions, so it would be a good idea to bring some. Travel insurance: Although Romania is as safe as any other country in Europe, we would like to ask you to consider purchasing travel insurance. Extra costs:  Bring some extra spending money with you. Allow £10-20/ 13-20 euro per person for meals not included in the package, depending on the restaurant.Beer is cheap in Romania so allow £1/1.3 euro/ 1.6- 2 AUD for a large beer or £2.5/ 3.25 euro / 4.5 UD in fancier restaurants.Exchange rate about £1 is about 5.75 Romanian Lei, 1 Euro is about 4.53 Romanian Lei, 3.6 lei for 1 AUD. Visa and passport Tourists from EU countries do not require a visa.Passports or IDs are mandatory. For tourists from Non-EU countries please check the visa requirements with your local customs authority.
