Overview
Through our new partner in Slovakia we now have thepossibility of offering some very exciting hind stalking, withthe possibility of hunting for a range of species. Slovakia ishome to some very good populations of red deer, fallowdeer, mouflon, wild boar and roe deer. You will often huntin some very beautiful, hilly districts. Hunting will takeplace in the early morning and evening, with each outinglasting between 2 - 3 hours.
Best Hunting period:
October - December
Hunters will stay in a nearby hotel or guest house, inrooms with in suite bathroom and toilet. The hotel offers itsown restaurant, where you can buy your meals, as well asa cozy bar. You must arrange your own meals during theday, giving you an excellent chance to sample some of thedelicious local Slovakian dishes. The cost of a standardmeal is between €5 - €10. Breakfast is included in theprice.
If you prefer more private surroundings, some of thedistricts can offer accommodation in a hunting lodge closeto the hunting district, with the services of a private cookduring your stay (at extra cost)
We recommend that you fly to Slovakia. You shouldarrange flights to either Budapest, Bratislava or Viennaairports, depending on which districts you will visit. You willbe met at the airport by a driver who will transfer hunters to
their accommodation by car or minibus, depending on thesize of the group. Drive time will be between 1½ - 2½hours.
Alternatively you can drive to Slovakia in your own car. Asthe journey time can be very long, depending on where youare driving from, we recommend that you overnight in ahotel in route on both your outward and homeboundjourneys
Hunters will stay in a nearby hotel or guesthouse, in rooms withen-suite bathroom and toilet. There is a restaurant in the hotelwhere you can buy your meals. There is also a cosy bar. In someof the hotels we use there are also luxurious wellness facilities,which are at your disposal during your stay. If you would preparemore private surroundings, some of the districts can, on paymentof a supplement offer accommodation in a hunting lodge close tothe hunting district. Lodges are normally located in the forest, andare suitable for groups of between 4 to 12 hunters.
When staying at a hotel you must arrange your own meals duringthe day, giving you an excellent chance to sample some of thedelicious local Slovakian dishes. The cost of a standard meal isbetween €5 - €10. Breakfast is included in the price.
If you choose to stay in a hunting lodge in the forest, there willtypically be a private cook at your service during your stay. Youshould not expect gourmet meals, but good solid food that willsatisfy even the most hungry hunter.

Our Slovakian hunts for red stags, fallow buck, mouflon, roebuck,wild boar and hinds are generally arranged with privatedistricts/hunting clubs, which range in size between 2,000 and10,000 hectares. Depending on the size of the district’s andgame you wish to hunt for, you can change district from day today, so the hunt matches the wishes of the client. There is a goodchance of finding a strong trophy.
Slovakia has strong hunting traditions and they take pride in thehunting and game management. This is why Slovakia is renownfor its large game populations, of all the most commonly huntedEuropean species.
You will also be hunting in magnificent countryside, with hilly andmountainous areas that are broken up by large forests and areasof farmland - the ideal terrain for driven hunts as well as deer andmouflon hunts.
