Mehndi and Nail Art Competition: 27/07/2013
Mehndi is a ceremonial art form which originated in ancient India. It is an unavoidable part of traditional
Hindu ceremonies and looking to flair of women towards applying Mehndi irrespective of their religion, a
Mehndi competition was organized on Saturday, 27th July, 2013. Where in total 26 students participated. We
had also organized Nail Art competition, wherein total 10 students participated.

The Department of management, Cultural Committee organized “Patriotic Day Celebration” on 16th August,
2013. As a part of celebration two activities were decided. Board Decoration: In these, every class was
become a participant and the award of winner was goes to class who has decorated the board the best.
Elocution Competition: In these, participants have delivering speech on following themes for maximum of
3 minutes. Medium of speech can be in English or Hindi. The themes are as follows:

Janmashtami Celebration: 27/09/2013
Department of management , SRIMCA, UTU has celebrated janmashtami on 27th Sept 2013. Janmashtami
also known as 'Krishnastami' is the birthday of Lord Krishna, the eight avatar (incarnation) of Lord Vishnu. It
is a very important Hindu festival celebrated in India with éclat and great enthusiasm. Dahi handi or Mosaru
Kudike is also an integral part of Janmashtami celebrations. It marks the mischievous and playful behaviour
of Lord Krishna. Students of department of management were more excited to Broke “DAHI HANDI”. All
classes were participated into Broke this DAHI HANDI with taste of DJ. The Janmashtami celebration was
really an awesome experience for the students which give them positive vibration.

Fresher party: 01/09/2013
The Cultural Committee of Department of Management, SRIMCA, UTU has Organized the FRESHER
PARTY and WELCOME FUNCTION for the Fresh Fragrance of Department of management on 1st of
September, 2013. On Behalf of our all senior students of MBA and MAM, Mr. Savan patel, Ms.Niyati Desai,
Mr. Ankur patel, Ms.Ekta patel and Ms.Monali Patel give a very warm welcome to the new students of MBA
and MAM. It feels very good. Almost all senior students of SRIMCA College are very polite and perhaps it
is this trait that makes their fresher’s party so frank, fun, engaging and memorable.
The function started with welcoming the dignitaries on dais, lighting the lamp, reciting prayer in harmonious
voice of all MBA and MAM Students. Dr. Prashant Joshi sir (Prof and Head of Department of management)
and shri Bhagu dada (the president of BPKM) are our valuable Guests for the function and they motivate and
encourage the students by their Vibrant Speech. A welcome dance was done by SYMBA student Ms. Vrunda
patel. The party was moved on by songs, dances, and Drama respectively by fresher, SYMBA and SYMAM
students. The Culture committee (Department of managemen0t, SRIMCA, UTU) had worked constantly as
given to them the responsibilities. Of course, for that many of students had worked silently to make this event
memorable. The list is endless.

Teachers Day Celebration: 05/09/2013
Every year in September (September 5) India celebrates the birthday of India’s second President, Dr.
Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. He was among the most influential scholars of comparative religion and
philosophy, some students wanted to celebrate his birthday, September 5, To which he remarked: “Instead of
celebrating my birthday, it would be my proud privilege if September 5 would be observed as "Teachers
Day" For His Great Tribute, the students department of Department Organized Teachers Day. In these Day
Management Students become Teachers and taught subject in the respective class after teaching they share
their experience. At the End of the day students give surprise gift to Teachers and make teachers day very
special for Department of management.

To aware and counsel the students regarding their health in terms various deceases

We will organize Thellesamia testing program for 1st year students in the month of September end.

HIV Aids awareness and counseling will be on 1st December (World HIV AIDS DAY).
We will organize or send the students as and when emergency will arise for blood donations. Further
we will organize the blood donation camp in our campus in collaboration with nursing staff if enough
number of students ready to donate blood voluntarily. Specific date will be decided as per the
convenience of the students and Sardar Hospital Staff.

Emergency Blood Donation:
As a part of Red Ribbon club, we have sent two of our MBA students for blood donations at sardar hospital
in Bardoli in the case of emergency. They have saved two peoples life by doing this kind activity.

Camp at Bardoli:
As a part of Red Ribbon club, we have sent students for blood donation in one of camp organized by HDFC
Bank in Bardoli whereby Blood bank division of Sardar smarak hospital was there to receive the blood. Our
8 students (Raval Jigar, Mangukiyavijay, Hamal Rama, Trivedi Maulik, Sojitra Vivek, Patel Bhumin, Mishra
Priyanka, Patel Hemali) have successfully donated blood there from division A and division B.

The session was intended to provide MBA Finance students on the technical aspects of corporate finance. He
briefly discussed about the various tools such as operating cycle, receipt/payment/RTGS/NEFT, Aging
analysis, MSOD report, Drawing power report, Du-pont analysis, credit management, letter of Credit, inco
terms and various manufacturing invoices. He explained the theory with the practical aspects by showing the
copy of the documents such as invoices, LOC and many more. He brought to the audience the need to put
efforts on the current market trends; he touched the practicalities of the companies. His practical examples
made the session more interesting. The program was interactive and informative for students as well as
faculties.

The Department of management, UTU, organized a Seminar for the students of SYMBA on the topic “Basics
of Stock Market” on the 22nd of July, 2013. The session was conduct by finance Club. Finance club discussed
various topics from academic point of view and topics covered during the seminar were – Basics of Stock
Market, transformation of Indian Stock Market, factors influencing the stock market, stock market vs. other
investment avenues and mechanism of stock trading. Finance Club discussed all the topics with practical
examples and kept the students engrossed.

Finance game: 21st Sept, 2013
Students participated in an investment simulation project with an initial wealth of 100000 on September 29,
2013. The project was managed by the investment simulation broker STOCK-TRAK. Students were
required to formulate trading strategies, conduct research, select securities, execute trades and track weekly
performance of their portfolio. A final comprehensive project report documenting trading activity and
analyzing investment performance is required for each student. The students with highest portfolio worth

Objectives
The MBA Marketing Club provides opportunities for SRIMCOM Marketing students to gain exposure to a
variety of marketing careers. It aims to introduce students to marketing practices in diverse industries and
settings including corporate, agency and nonprofit companies. The Marketing Club also facilitates the
development of students by sponsoring speaker events, corporate tours and networking opportunities with
local and regional marketing professionals.
Each event will be constructed with the intention of providing valuable knowledge in a welcoming and

From the activity of news and views and terminology student had learned about what recently things are
happening in market and how it will impact on Indian economy. Other than theoretical knowledge we gave
them practical & real life learning, student came to know different terminology which they were not aware
of, now they know it.

to enhance their knowledge and skill.
With this activity they came know what is happening outside of our organization that is in market. This

Marketing club had organized Game named “MARKET KE KHILADI” which had help students to get
entertain and also help to get some practical knowledge.

Objective behind this game was to make students have a bit of practical experience of real market (which
was created) and learn many marketing concepts practically. Through this students can know what
opportunities and threats they can face when they actually go out in market.
In this game two parties were there buyers and sellers. Buyers were finance students and sellers were
marketing students. We made each team of 3 students in both the parties. There were 8 teams of
sellers & 14 teams of buyers.
One day before we told sellers that they have to make a products using 6 resources from which 3
should be eco-friendly resources and minimum 14 quantities and their product range could between
100-500 rupees.
On Saturday we gave a time to sellers for manufacturing their respective products and in between we
told them buyers requirement and expectations and on the basis of that sellers have to made products.
Time given to manufactured products was 1 hour 15 min..
After the products were manufactured we called buyers and all sellers gave presentation about their
products.
After that presentation, trading activity was started. In that activity buyer and seller both had to
maintain their balance score card. We provided 5000 virtual money to buyers for purchasing a
product. Buyers have to purchase maximum products in a least cost & sellers had to earn as much as
they can for trading activity we gave 30 minutes to them.
After trading activity completed now buyers gave presentation justifying their purchases, what
difficulty they face at time of trading and all.
After that we called 3 sellers to share their experienced about the whole event.
Then our marketing club coordinator Jitesh Parmar & Apurva Jain gave suggestions and conclusion.
Sub coordinator i.e. (Sweety Mungra, , Vrunda Patel , Vama Patel , Krushna Patel student of SY
MBA marketing specialization) gave their views about the whole event.
And lastly our honorable judges Mr. Mulachand Sen and Mrs. Swapna Nair also shared their views
and experiences.
We all students learnt many things from this whole game such as organizing, Marketing, Capital
Management, Time Management, Resource Management, Etc...

We had discussed so many things on various occasion and event over a period of time. From this discussion all staff has
recommended that we require one such a club where all the staff and their families get together and interact. There was a great
enthusiasm and tremendous response from the faculty to form such social and cultural club. So we have decided to form SRIMCA
Faculty Club, which is called SRIMCA Parivar.
OBJECTIVE:
The Primary Objectives of SFC having such club in the campus is the welfare of members of club, which includes providing
financial assistance on loan basis and social interaction.
All the faculty members are invited for their active participation and valuable suggestion.
RULES FOR MEMBERSHIP:
Staff members including teaching and non teaching staff of SRIMCA – MBA, MCA, B.V.Patel Institute of BMC & IT –
BCA, Department of Computer Science and Department of Management are eligible for the membership of SRIMCA
Staff Club.
Interested candidates are required to fill up CONSENT FORM AND MEMBERSHIP FORM along with non-
refundable membership fee Rs.100/-.
Minimum monthly deduction is compulsory for continuation of membership.
In case of withdrawal of membership, an application to the committee is required in prescribed format. In case withdrawal
is within two years, no interest is payable, but Complete principal amount will be payable. (Membership fee is non-
refundable).
Interest deposited + Loan amount interest will be distributed to qualified members every year as per the contribution made
by the member.
Minimum two years’ membership is required for earning interest as per above point. Interest on the saving will be
calculated from second year onwards.

RULES FOR LOAN:
ELIGIBILITY:
Minimum completion of two years’ membership.
Non – teaching member is entitled to take loan maximum 5 times of his/her contribution till date of application.Teaching
member is entitled to take loan maximum 3 times of his/her contribution till date of application. The maximum loan limit
is Rs.50000/- for both teaching and non-teaching member.
PROCEDURE:
Loan application has to be submitted in the prescribed format to the committee at least 5 days in advance.

Two guarantors (Must be member of SRIMCA staff Club) are required with loan application. Guarantor must have
completed minimum two years of membership. In case borrower is unable to pay, guarantor must pay remaining total loan
amount + interest in cash. Guarantor can give guarantee to only one applicant at a time.
The borrower, who has a loan in continuation, cannot be a guarantor for other.
Committee President, Secretary and Treasurer are not allowed as guarantor.
Loan will be sanctioned as per the priority and policy decided by the committee.
REPAYMENT OF LOAN:
Loan will be given at 12% reducing interest rate. Borrower can pay the amount as per the convenience. Only reducing
interest rate will be charged for subsequent months.
Once loan is taken, minimum one month’s interest is to be paid for the whole amount repayment within the same month.
Loan can be paid within 30 equal installment + interest at each month (1% per month). EMI will be decided by borrower
and committee members.
Interest is compulsory to pay every month.
Installment + interest needs to be paid to committee member (NAME) in cash till 10th of every month.
Two sheets will be given for loan repayment. One with the borrower and one with committee members. Borrower need to
take signature of committee member in the sheet at the time of payment.
In case borrower is not paying EMI for consecutive 2 months, a notice will be given to borrower and the guarantor. From
next month the due EMI + interest is the responsibility of guarantor.
Committee shall have right to change rules without prior information to the members as per circumstances.

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR LOAN APPLICANT AND GUARANTOR:
ELIGIBILITY:
Minimum completion of two years’ membership.
Non – teaching member is entitled to take loan maximum 5 times of his/her contribution till date of
application. Teaching member is entitled to take loan maximum 3 times of his/her contribution till date of
application. The maximum loan limit is Rs.50000/- for both teaching and non-teaching member.
PROCEDURE:
Loan application has to be submitted in the prescribed format to the committee at least 5 days in advance.
Two guarantors (Must be member of SRIMCA staff Club) are required with loan application. Guarantor must
have completed minimum two years of membership. In case borrower is unable to pay, guarantor must pay
remaining total loan amount + interest in cash. Guarantor can give guarantee to only one applicant at a time.
The borrower, who has a loan in continuation, cannot be a guarantor for other.
Loan will be sanctioned as per the priority and policy decided by the committee.
REPAYMENT OF LOAN:
Loan will be given at 12% reducing interest rate. Borrower can pay the amount as per the convenience. Only
reducing interest rate will be charged for subsequent months.
Once loan is taken, minimum one month’s interest is to be paid for the whole amount repayment within the
same month.
Loan can be paid within 30 equal installment + interest at each month (1% per month). EMI will be decided by
borrower and committee members.
Interest is compulsory to pay every month.
Installment + interest needs to be paid to committee member (NAME) in cash till 10th of every month.
Two sheets will be given for loan repayment. One with the borrower and one with committee members.
Borrower need to take signature of committee member in the sheet at the time of payment.
In case borrower is not paying EMI for consecutive 2 months, a notice will be given to borrower and the
guarantor. From next month the due EMI + interest is the responsibility of guarantor.
Committee shall have right to change rules without prior information to the members as per circumstances.

Women’s club was formed in the year 2012-13. The club was formed with the objectives of organize
