A LONG HISTORY IN THE INDUSTRYCurbell has been supplying hospitals and long-term care facilities

with innovative products for over 50 years. We have strong

relationships with bed, television, and nurse call system manufacturers,

and we work closely with them to ensure that our products work

properly and safely with all types of equipment. Most importantly, we

work with you, to create custom solutions that meet your requirements

and specifications.

OUR COMMITMENT TO QUALITYCurbell works to continuously improve our operations, products, and

services. In 2001, Curbell developed and implemented a quality

management system that is compliant with ISO 9001:2000. This quality

management system was built upon to achieve ISO 13485:2003

(CMDCAS) certif ication in 2004. We are also a current Good

Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Compliant Facility.

KEEPING YOUR STAFF IN MINDWe know that how our products work with your patients is as important

as how your sta works with our products. During the design process,

we met with sta members and did tests in long-term care facilities to

make sure these products were reliable, flexible, durable, and easy to

use. Our knowledgeable sales representatives can help you select

the right system, and instruct your sta on its use.

EXPERIENCE IN NURSE CALLFall management isn’t limited to just having an alarm sound in the

patient's room — it’s becoming more common, and more important to

have some notification at your nurses' station. From our beginning,

Curbell has been involved in connecting our equipment to various

types of nurse call systems. Since then, we’ve become an industry

leader in nurse call system integration, and we use this expertise to

make sure that our equipment properly interfaces with your nurse call

system, no matter what kind it is.

CORDLESS ADVANTAGES

ELIMINATE TRIPPING HAZARDS AND CORD DAMAGEIf you have patients who are prone to tripping over cables, you know the risks of such a situation. By eliminating the cords between the monitor and sensor, there’s one less thing to trip over.

REDUCE NOISE ANDALARM FATIGUE

Our cordless monitors allow the option for no audible alarm in the room, relying on sta notification through the nurse call system. This helps to improve the patient environment and minimize alarm fatigue. The BC400, shown here, has adjustable volume, while the BC500 (page 4) makes no sound at all.

CONNECT TWO PADS TOONE MONITOR

Unique to our cordless monitors is the ability to connect two sensors pads at the same time. This lets you move a patient around without having to move or reconnect a sensor pad.

Our cordless fall management monitor and cordless

sensor pads bring patient safety to a new level,

eliminating tripping hazards and cord damage while

giving your sta flexibility in mounting the monitor

and reducing alarm fatigue.

When used with cordless sensor pads the Cordless Bed and Chair Monitor eliminates cord tripping hazards, as well as cord damage — the primary cause of false and failed alarms and pad replacement costs. With its easy-to-read LCD screen, dedicated function buttons, and cordless capabilities, it’s the ideal choice when you need a fall management monitor that’s flexible enough to use with any of your patients in any situation.

The BC400 can be mounted up to 30 feet away from the sensor — either just out of reach of the patient, or out in the hall for easier access.

Cordless pads eliminate cord tripping hazards, as well as cord damage (see page 3). Two cordless sensor pads can be synchronized to the BC400 at the same time.

Bright LEDs on both sides of the monitor give your sta additional visual notification of an alarm when the monitor is mounted in the hall.

The easy-to-read LCD screen shows current settings, pad status, and alarm notifications. Here, the remaining life of a timed pad is displayed.
