Teaching and impacting international students for Christ
by providing a quality Christian education.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Provide an excellent education to international
students built on an integrated Christ-centered worldview. Lead these
students and their families to know and love Jesus and disciple them to
transform society through God-honoring service in their homes, churches and
professions.
CONTEXT: The Santa Cruz Christian Learning Center is an international
school with over 220 students from all over the world. The SCCLC is located
in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, a modern tropical city of almost two million people. The
school attracts many families including upper-class professionals by using a
curriculum that is based on U.S. standards and taught in English. SCCLC is
an ACSI accredited international school.
REQUIREMENTS:
A love and passion for teaching with a desire to develop young people
both academically and spiritually.
Appropriate teacher certification and classroom experience.
At least one year of commitment.

Elementary and Secondary Teacher
Hands-on teaching and discipling of future
leaders for today and tomorrow.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Disciple Ammi students through life-on-life
interaction. Care for the physical infrastructure of the Ammi Training Center
by coming alongside the students and mentoring them in maintenance
projects during structured work sessions. This ministry could include
vocational teaching in a classroom setting.
CONTEXT: The Ammi Training Center in Chapada, Brazil, is an indigenous
training center that trains leaders from over thirty different people groups.
Its name is Hebrew and stands for “My People.” The training is highly
contextualized and focuses strongly on biblical character development. The
students are also involved in practical ministry, outside the classroom, by
taking periodic ministry trips into tribal areas.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in maintenance and construction.
Have a passion for relational life-on-life discipleship.
Have a desire to meet the challenge of living overseas.

Ammi Maintenance Facilitator
Teaching English as a second language in a local Brazilian school.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Witnessing and evangelizing through teaching
English as a second language to Brazilians. Sharing Christ in an academic
and relational setting both in a secular context and at the Ammi Training
Center.
CONTEXT: Chapada, Brazil, is a popular tourist area for people from the
near by city of Cuiaba, and host to our Ammi Training Center. Speaking
English is a desire of many national Brazilians. As an outreach of the local
churches, this ministry addresses a felt need and propels the church to
engage the people within their communities.
Ammi is an indigenous training center that trains leaders from over thirty
different people groups.
REQUIREMENTS:
TESL certification.
Have a passion for relational life-on-life discipleship.
Have a desire to meet the challenge of living overseas.

Chapada ESL Teacher
Modeling biblical principles to instill in the lives of Colombian
university students through discipleship and mentoring.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Creatively engage university students with the
Gospel in three different universities in the coastal region of Santa Marta,
Colombia. Through evangelism and discipleship opportunities, connect these
university students to Christ, help them grow in their faith, and enable them
to assume leadership roles within their context to affect and transform future
generations.
Relationships are built and initiated to encourage a personal, vibrant
relationship with Christ.
Training and development are encouraged and provided so the students
may reach their potential in Christ.
Social and fellowship groups are encouraged to create community in a
Christian context.
CONTEXT: Santa Marta is a fast growing city of over 400,000 people. The
University Outreach Ministry is looking for those who are willing to serve a
minimum of one year, have ministry experience in their local churches or on
college campuses, and love to share their faith. The ministry will be an
integral part and outreach of the local church, La Iglesia Esperanza.

University Outreach Ministry
Teaching and discipling future leaders for today and tomorrow.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Dynamically engage the youth with the gospel
and disciple young believers in a missional K-12 Christian school in the
coastal city of Santa Marta. Teaching towards the goal of developing
physical, intellectual, spiritual and social life skills in future Christian leaders.
CONTEXT: The Colegio Esperanza, (currently 450 students) is a ministry
which provides a Christ-centered, quality education to local church families
and the broader community in the Caribbean city of Santa Marta. The word
Esperanza translates to “hope” in English. La Esperanza Church saw a great
need for quality Christian education in the city. The public schools were in-
adequate and private schools were only accessible to the wealthy. Due to
this need, The Colegio Esperanza was founded to bring hope and make a
positive difference in the city of Santa Marta.
REQUIREMENTS:
A teacher’s certificate with TESL qualifications.
A passion for life-on-life discipleship.
A desire to meet the challenge of living overseas.

The Colegio Esperanza—ESL Teacher
Teaching and impacting missionary children for Christ
by providing a quality Christian education.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Provide an excellent education built on an
integrated Christ-centered worldview. Commit to helping missionaries
accomplish their ministry objectives by providing a quality education for their
children, equipping them with learning tools by which they develop social,
academic, and spiritual wholeness. Teach to help students learn to be
productive in multi-cultural settings, and to encourage students toward further
education and into service for God.
CONTEXT: SAM Academy is located on the SAM base in Pucallpa, Peru, and
functions as a multi-level classroom environment. This Fall of 2011, there will
be 20 students ranging from early elementary through high school. The city of
Pucallpa provides most of the modern day technological advantages. Staff
housing is also located within the safe context of the SAM base.
We are looking for those who are willing to serve a minimum of one year, have
a teaching degree with some experience, are active in their local churches, and
love to teach!

Elementary and Secondary Teacher
A cross-cultural ministry that involves life-on-life discipleship and
mentoring, all in a context of X-Game sports.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Engage un-churched youth with the Gospel
through a strategic outreach that is an extension of the local churches in the
Pucallpa area. Model God’s redemptive passion for the world and for the
youth of Pucallpa through friendship evangelism and life-on-life discipleship.
CONTEXT: The vision is to develop a youth community center that features
X-Game variety sports and recreation. The center will offer attractions such
as a climbing wall and skate park. The “wild east” of Peru is full of exciting
and challenging ministry opportunities. The streets of this jungle city are
filled with youth looking for direction and purpose in life which is often found
in addicting and unhealthy situations. SAM Peru wants to be a part of raising
up a generation of youth who are living examples of God’s answers to the
loneliness and injustice of the world.
We are looking for those who are willing to serve a minimum of one year,
have ministry experience in their local churches with youth, and love to
share their faith.
