The major challenge of the use of the new curricula is the availability of teaching/instructional materials

Under the UNESCO-Nigeria TVE revitalization project, NBTE-UNESCO organised two workshops for the development of teaching/instructional materials for use with the curricula

First workshop was, December 2008, for 7 disciplines which produce over 240 e-books for 147 subjects.

The Second was held in June 2009, for 6 disciplines. About 110 e-books are currently being developed for about 101 subjects.
