Log of weekly reading will take place on our school wide reading wall recording sheet

4 word problems per week using the RDW strategy, due by Friday! (on the grade level page)
Extra opportunities
Dreambox, Typing Agent, Fluency Passages, Math Fluency practice sporadically throughout the year (x facts, games for home), etc…
The expectation for your child entering 3rd
grade: Fluency of addition and subtraction facts through 20.

AZ state law:
Third grade students that score far below the
third grade level on the state adopted reading
test will NOT be promoted to fourth grade.
Exceptions: Some ELL and IEP students

Parent Drop off
• Please drop off between the cross walks. Pull up as far as possible. Do not let your students out before the crosswalk.
• If you pull into the lot and park, please walk your student across the crosswalk.
• Please be patient when waiting to pull into the lot. There is only one
line of traffic that is pulling in from the street.
• Students should be ready to exit the car when the time is
• appropriate.
