TUL) - one of the best schools of engineering in the country In my senior yearI received a grant to study at the Center for Theoretical Particle Physics (CFTP) where I completedmy dissertation on flavour physics and CP violation under the supervision of Prof Gustavo CasteloBranco Since then Irsquove worked as a data analyst test automation engineer DevOps enginner andML consultant in areas ranging from market research to telecommunications and transportation In2016 I decided to return to academia and completed a PgD course in Forensic Studies from InstitutoSuperior de Ciencias Sociais e Polıticas (ISCSPUL) Currently Irsquom working as a DevOps engineer ML consultant at Siemens while pursuing a PhD in Cognitive Science at the University of Lisbon Mydissertation will focus on the application of ML algorithms to improve the performance of EEG-basedBCI systems
