Other Professional Accomplishments

2007 Supervised, edited, and approved the production of a nerve conduction manual for our lab, to be used in training of technicians and physicians (residents and fellows), and to provide a compendium of the standard procedures used in our lab for performing nerve conduction studies.

2007 Supervised the purchase and installation of new software for the EMG lab which displays normal

values for nerve conduction studies as the studies are performed, and in the reports. The goal is to facilitate the adoption of uniform normal values by all physicians in the EMG lab, familiarize the technicians with normal values, facilitate the education of our physician trainees (residents and fellows), and facilitate communication with our referring physicians.

2007 Initiated monthly EMG Quality Assurance meetings which I supervise. 2010 Initiated Lumizyme therapy at Hershey Medical Center for patients with adult-onset Pompe
