(B) Research Experiences (Projects Work)

(i) Individual Project

Final report of the Minor Research Project entitled „A Physical Survey of the

Medieval Monuments Associated with Shamsi Talab in Qasba Nagaur‟ has

been submitted in 2016. It was sanctioned by The Centre of Advanced

Study, Department of History, A.M.U., Aligarh from the head of the „Field

Work in Archaeology‟ 2015-16.

Final report of the Research project entitled ‘A Physical Survey of the Secular

and Religious Buildings of Qasba Nagaur with Special Reference to Water

bodies during Medieval Period‟ has been submitted in the month of November,

2013. It was sanctioned by Maharaja Man Singh Pustak Prakash and Research

Centre (Mehrangarh Museum Trust), Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur (Rajasthan) for

three years (i.e. September, 2010 to September, 2013).

(ii) Research Associate/Project Fellow/Research Assistant

Worked as Research Associate/Project Fellow on a project entitled „An Atlas of

Medieval Rajasthan‟. This major research project was sanctioned (i.e. July, 2010 –

January, 2012) by University Grant Commission, New Delhi.

(iii) Research Associate/Project Fellow/Research Assistant

Worked as Research Assistant/Project Fellow on a project entitled „A Physical

Survey of Irrigational Works in the Thar Desert in Medieval Times‟. This

project was sanctioned (i.e. October, 2006 – October, 2009) by Indian National

Science Academy (INSA), New Delhi.

Translated a portion of the course-material for B.A. course from English into

(13) Educational Tours

An Educational Tour of the students of M.A. (F) to visit the historical sites of

Allahabad Fort, Sarnath of Varanasi and Atala Masjid of Jaunpur was assigned

between 08.07.2008 to 13.07.2008, at the Department of History, Aligarh

Muslim University, Aligarh.

And Second time also for the same was assigned between 25.01.2011 to

30.01.2011, of the students of M.A. (F) to Historical sites of Jaipur and Udaipur

(Rajasthan), at the Department of History, Aligarh Muslim University,

Aligarh.

An Educational Tour of the students of History (B.A. & M.A.) to visit the

historical sites of Delhi such as Tughlakabad, Archaeological Garden, Qutub

Complex and Tomb of Humayun was assigned on 9th

February, 2013, at the

Department of History and Culture, Jamia Millia Islamia University, New

Delhi.

An Educational Tour of the students of History (B.A.) to visit the historical sites

of M.P. such as Bhopal, Archaeological Sites i.e. Bhimbetka, Sanchi Stupa and

Vidisa, and Panch Marhi was assigned along with other two senior teachers of the

department between 9.01.2013 to 14.01.2014 for four/Five days, at the

Department of History, Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, New Delhi.
