:: Details about Research

1. Tail – Bindu Parikshana:

i. Total Patients enrolled were 647 till now.

ii. Assessment of Sadhya-sadhyatwa of chronic diseases was observed according to direction.

iii. Helps to see the prognosis of diseases.

2. Anaemia Project by Dhoot Papeshwar Company:

i. Total Patients enrolled were 350.

ii. Hemoglobin estimation was done in females, aged between 10 to 18 years.

iii. The patients who were having Hemoglobin percentage between 5 – 10 gm were considered

as Anemic & advised to take Ayurvedic haematinic capsules for 3 months.

3. Fennucap Project by Brihan’s Pharmacy :


ii. Fennucap is administered up to 2 months. Haemogram, BSL, BUL, Sr. Creatinine, Lipid Profile,

& Urine routine-microscope investigations have been done.

iii. Comparison between all the investigations done with special reference to Sr.Cholesterol &

Sr.Triglyceride.

iv. Result seen: Fennucap lowers both the level of Sr.Cholesterol & Triglyceride respectively.

4. Mala Parikshana in Amvavata Vyadhi:

i. Total Patients enrolled were 240 till now.

ii. Assessment of Samta-Niramata of Amavata vyadhi was observed.

iii. Helps to see the prognosis of diseases.

5. Comparative study of vikrutivisham samvayarabdha sannipatik jwara

described in Charak with reference to dengue fever:

i. 30 diagnosed Dengue positive patients were taken in the present study.

ii. Correlation between Lakshanas of Vikrutivisham Samvayarabdha Sannipatik Jwara and

symptoms of Dengue fever were observed.

iii. Relations between subsequent Lakshanas were established by statistical analysis and result

is found insignificant as only 9 out of 30 patients had more than 50% of the symptoms (i.e.

more than 13/23 Lakshanas).

iv. On the basis of observation, Mamsadhatugatavastha was found significantly more as

compare to Raktadhatugatavastha.

6. Assessment of Oligospermia with Special Reference to Shukradushti:

i. 30 diagnosed Patients of Oligospermia were taken for Semen analysis for comparison of

Shukradushti with vitiation of Doshas.

ii. The assessment of Oligospermia with Ayurvedic Shukradushti was analysed by modern

equipment.

iii. Out of 8 Shukradushti Lakshanas 5 Lakshanas i.e. Phenil, Ruksha, Tanu, Vivarna & Puti are

found significant.

iv. The present study concluded that Vata & Pitta Doshas are mostly involved in Shukradushti in

the patients of Oligospermia.

7. Study of krimighna (antibacterial) effect of Shigru (Moringa oleifera

Linn.) Patra by culture & sensitivity method:

i. In the present study total 50 specimen, 25 each of S. aureus & E. coli were isolated &

cultured.

ii. Shigru (Moringa oleifera Linn) was screened for its antimicrobial property by using the

Culture & Sensitivity method.

iii. Shigru patra showed remarkable antibacterial property against S. aureus & E. coli.

8. Upashyatmaka effect of Rason (Allium sativam linn.) in Madhumeha

w.s.r. to Blood sugar level (BSL)

i. In the present study total 40 diabetic patients were enrolled.

ii. Rason capsule were given to 20 patients whereas 20 patients were taking Placebo.

iii. Blood Sugar estimation was done before & after the treatment.

On the basis of observation, it is found that BSL decreases after the administration of Rason

Capsule

9. Assessment of Hb% in Adolescent females of Nigdi Villege:


ii. Hemoglobin estimation was done in adolescent females, aged between 10 to 18 years,

residing in slum areas of Nigdi village for etiopathogenesis of Pandu / anemia.

iii. Relation between Hetus & their subsequent Lakshanas were established & result is found

significant as Hetu & Lakshanas do not differ significantly.

iv. On the basis of observation, prevalence of Tridoshaja Pandu was found in the area taken for

the study.

10. Assessment of Blood Sugar level before and after administration of

Honey as Anupan in healthy volunteers:

i. Total Healthy volunteers enrolled were 28.

ii. 4 groups of 25 ml, 50 ml, 100ml & control group of 7 volunteers each were made for

analysis.

iii. Assessment of Blood sugar level was done.

iv. On the basis of observation, it is found that Blood sugar level decreases after administration

of Honey.

11. Assessment of Lipid profile before and after Vaman –Virechan Karma:

i. In the present study total 30 patients were enrolled.

ii. Assessment of Lipid profile was done before Snehpan after Samyak snehpan & after Vaman-

Virechan-Sansarjan karma.

iii. On the basis of observation, it is found that Lipid profile decreases after Vaman –Virechan

Karma.

12. Assessment of Serum Cholesterol level before and after Abhyantar

Snehapan (Goghruta)

i. In the present study total 30 patients were enrolled.

ii. Assessment of Serum Cholesterol level was done before & after Samyak Snehpan

(Goghruta).

iii. On the basis of observation, it is found that Serum Cholesterol level increases after Snehapan

(21 out of 30 patients).

01. Study the effect of Kiratiktadi Yog in Sthaulya w.s.r. to Serum Cholesterol level:

i. In the present study total 60 obese patients were enrolled.

ii. Tablet of Kiratiktadi yog were given to 30 patients whereas 30 patients were taking Tablet of

Atorvastatin as a control group.

iii. Sr. Cholesterol estimation was done before & after the treatment.

iv. This research activity is going on.

02. In vitro Evalution of Krimighna (Antibacterial) effect of Chakramarda Fruit by culture & Sensitivity

test :

03. Etiopathological study of Amavata w.s.r. to specific gravity of urine.

i. 60 diagnosed Aamavata patients will be taken in the present study.

ii. Specific gravity of urine of mild, moderate, severe cases of Aamavata patients will be the

prime criteria for assessment.

iii. Taila Bindu Parikshan will be done for assessment of Prognosis of disease.

iv. This research activity is going on.

04. Etiopathogenesis of Maha-Urdhawa-Chhinna Shwasa w.s.r. to pH of the Blood & PCO2 level:

i. 60 diagnosed Maha-Urdhwa-Chinna Shwasa patients will be taken in the present study.

ii. pH of the blood & PCO2 level of Maha-Urdhwa-Chinna Shwasa patients will be the prime

criteria for assessment.

iii. This research activity is going on.

2000 Delegates participated from Maharashtra. Total 300 papers were submitted. Total

80 papers were selected out of these. Poster Presentation was arranged. There were 150

Poster Presentation, which were updated in Pune.

2. Chairman of Scientific Advisory Committee of Ayurved Clinical Trial Unit by Maharashtra


With guidance of Vice Chancellor from Pune Region 5 colleges prepared 6 Research

Projects and were sent to AYUSH Dept. New Delhi. Grant of Rupees 3 Crores is expected

for this project

Entire data of this Unique Project and Research will be available by one Click. The process

for collecting data by dissertation is going on with the collaboration of university.

amongst all people about Ayurveda. (2002 to 2006)

3. Organized 40-up Check up Camps for Senior Citizens. (Lab Investigation, ECG, X-Ray)

4. Organized Hemoglobin and Blood Group Detection camp for women through Bachat

Gata.

5. Started Swine Flu Screening Centre with help of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal

Corporation, Pune. Since 2011. Screened 25-30 patients and prescribed Ayurvedic

Medication.

6. Organized Rural Health Camps in radius of of 20 kms around Pune. Provided free

checkups for 250-300 patients.

7. Organized Health Check up & Hemoglobin detection for almost 600 Anganwadi Childrens.

8. Organized Mega Squint Camp with the help of Rotary Club & Netra Seva Pratishthan

which created Limca Book Record on 14th & 15th Aug. 2010.

Successfully conducted 157 surgeries in 1.5 days.

9. Providing Senior Citizens with I-cards and giving them 50% discount. Receiving very good

response for this scheme.

10. Arranging Doctors, medication and ambulances for warkaris for free. Providing free

checkups to them.
