Advised Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks and the U.S. Forest Service on post-fire recovery of Cimarron National Grasslands, 2011. Advised FSA on Emergency Haying and Grazing of CRP during the drought of 2011 and 2012. Facilitated modeling effort with the US Fish and Wildlife Service, Oklahoma Secretary of the Environment, Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, and The Nature Conservancy to mitigate for wind energy impacts to the Lesser-prairie Chicken. Consulted for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in Sandy, Utah. Advised on recovery actions for the Threatened Utah prairie dog. Advised USDA Farm Service Agency on changes in CRP haying and grazing guidelines to benefit wildlife in Oklahoma, 2008-2013. Courses Organized: I designed a range and wildlife field trip for graduate students to Utah. This resulted in each student completing an outreach product based on knowledge gained from this trip. This trip was available for credit as a special problems course and has been completed in 2 years for 16 students.
