Involvement in data management activities: CRF (paper and electronic) design, data definition and database design,

study setup (validation rules for clinical data management system and testing), data cleaning, discrepancies

management (manual and automatic data checks), MedDRA and ATC coding, quality control audits of CRF data against

database values, database lock and unlock. Redaction of data management documents.

Involvement in biostatistics activities:

Sample size calculation during the study design and draft of clinical study protocol;

Suggestion of the appropriated input and statistical approaches for meeting clinical study endpoints;

Draft of the Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP);

Release of statistical analysis as per SAP;

Writing and reviewing the Clinical Study Report (CSR), and other manuscript submitted for publication of the

study results (with particular focus on the statistical methods and results sections).

If statistical analysis has to be outsourced, collaboration with the external study biostatistician and with the study
