10.2 In Progress

(i) On Dynamic Panel Data Modelling

The literature on this dynamic panel modelling has been extensively reviewed and

presently, we are developing the appropriate methodology for estimating the model. In

this research work, we employed the dynamic panel data modeling as an improvement

over the linear static panel data procedures in analyzing the cross sectional effects of

some crucial macroeconomic determinants (total investment, inflation, population,

current account balance, volume of imports of goods and services and volume of exports

of goods and services) of United States during the period 1990-2016. Hence, we shall be

investigating the contribution of Foreign Direct Investment on Economic Growth.
