Immediate and Future Benefits
• No “Wet” signatures required for any scheduled maintenance jobs on extinguishers or other portable F&R equipment – (time, resource) example 1 building has 621 Extinguishers.
• (Approx 1200 operational buildings on site, 95 buildings, Registered over 2100 Fire Points with approx 2700 Extinguishers)
• Huge reduction in printed WO’s – (cost, performance and resource)
• To date over 2700 WO’s raised and closed automatically via IKON’s (16 reams x 500 pages)
– Approx 200000 WO’s raised per year on site.
• Proven concept using data capture devices for maintenance activities in M3.
