Fast drying, high solids epoxy coating for use as
an anti corrosive primer or intermediate coat for the protection of steel and
other substrates in atmospheric exposure
Penguard Express ZP
Offers all of the benefits of Penguard Express and is
additionally pigmented with active zinc
phosphate pigments for increased corrosion
protection
Natural choice as the first coat in a multi coat
system
Penguard Express MIO
Is reinforced with micaceous iron oxide pigments for increased
barrier effect
The overlapping pigments reduce moisture

• The range of Penguard Express products are designed to speed up the production process
– Very fast dry-to-recoat
– Very fast dry-to-handle
• At 40°C a coat of 100 m DFT is surface dry after only 30 minutes, and can be recoated after 1 hour
• At 23°C a coat of 100 m DFT is surface dry after only 1 hour, and can be recoated after 2 hours

Corrosion Protection Performance
• Penguard Express can be applied direct to metal and provides sufficient corrosion protection including high durability C4 environments, as defined by ISO 12944
• For C5 environments, Penguard Express will provide sufficient corrosion protection for high durability when used in systems with zinc rich primers
• Penguard Express is not for use on immersed structures
