Set TypeThis attribute displays set type.

RegisteredThis attribute, namely for «visitors» sets is managed by the DECT set recording function atattendant level. It allows you to put DECT sets that have previously been created on the NON operationalposition, and to immediately switch to the operational position as new users arrive (at theattendant welcome level). This attribute is positionned:

• permanently at Yes for «Permanent» users (resident at the site),

• at NO for «Permanent» sets awaiting attribution,• at NO for sets reserved for visitors but not used,

• at YES until the expiry date for sets reserved for visitors.

DECT user typeThis attribute is used to choose the type of user:

• Permanent User: user of a set on the site,

• Internal visitor: the user is a temporary visitor and has borrowed the mobile set,

Parameter management

• External Visitor: the user is a temporary visitor who owns his/her own mobile set.Note: For both internal and external Visitor sets, a series of internal Visitor and External Visitor sets mustpreviously have been created, with the attribute recorded at NO. In this way, the attendant can recordthe type of visitor as a DECT user.

IPUI N (International Portable User Identity type N)This attribute (International Set Number) cannot be modified by the attendant:• for permanent sets, it is recorded on installation,

• for external visitor sets, it is recorded by the attendant.

IPUI 0This attribute is operational if the «empty shell» attribute is validated. It cannot be managedby the manager. It is filled in by the owner from his/her own mobile set.Principle: The manager declares in advance a certain number of DECT sets said to be«empty shell» with the empty shell attribute set at YES. When the node is reached, theDECT transmission user is automatically declared in an empty shell with the same profileas on its original node.

Expiry: Day, Month, YearThese attributes are used to define the expiry date of a mobile set.

Overfl. if Paging FailureIf this attribute is validated at Yes: in cases of no reply, the call overflows to the overflowdirectory number on paging failure (see attribute below). If this attribute is validated at No: in cases of no reply, the call is rejected if it is an internal call,or redirected to the attendant if it is an external call.

Paging overflow Dir. No.This attribute is used to complete the overflow directory number upon failure of the pagingsystem. This number can be a set number or a voice mail service number, but cannot be that of anattendant.

Network Mobility AccessThis attribute is used to validate the use of a mobile set on different installation nodes. The user set going through other nodes also remains available for use (see attributeShell )

ShellThis attribute is used to define the set as a ghost set. Several must be created so that usersbelonging to other nodes can be declared.

2.3 Abbreviated numbersAbbreviated numbers are used to contact external correspondants.

In practice, users dial a simplified number to their sets and the PBX automatically dials thenumber of the external correspondant.

It is possible to create a table of 15000 abbreviated numbers maximum (0 to 14999).

These numbers are declared in differents «ranges» (0 to 399), used for defining user accessto abbreviated dialling from their feature category (managed by the installation technician).

For each abbreviated number, it is possible to create up to 15 different aliases. These aliasesare extra names used in the feature «Call by name».

Each range can only contain abbreviated numbers for which indices are successive (e.g.: 101to 150).

Direct abbreviated numbers and numbers abbreviated by range must be distinguishedbetween.

Direct abbreviated numbersThe user sends the number by dialling a prefix. All directly abbreviated numbers are placed in one range, global vis-à-vis the network fromwhich the contents are automatically broadcast on all nodes of this network. This range cannot overlap other ranges with «numbers abbreviated by range».

On initialisation, ranges are empty. For each range created, a seizure prefix must be attributed (8 digits maximum).

Example:

Prefix for range 1 = 11

Prefix for range 2 = 12

Prefix for range 3 = 13

Users with access to range 1 should compose 1150 to reach the abbreviated number with the index 50.

Users with access to range 2 should compose 12104 to reach the abbreviated number with the index 199.

Users with access to range 3 should compose 139 to reach the abbreviated number with the index 104.

If ISDN access is designed in the installation, aswell as the option «AUTOMATICATTENDANT», each abbreviated number (by range) can identify incoming correspondantsfrom the ISDN, the numbers of which are translated into directory numbers. A user called bya correspondant for whom the number is declared in abbreviated dialling, will be the directoryname of the correspondant on this users display.

Direct Abbr. No. prefixFill in the prefix (8 characters maximum, 0 to 9, A to D, and *).This prefix is automatically shown in the translators table of prefixes.Users dial this prefix when they want to send the corresponding call number.

Call numberProvided with an outgoing node seizure prefix, aswell as a number to be sent on this node. The digits of the recorded number (20 maximum) must be declared one after the other. Theymust not be separated by spaces, dashes or other symbols to indicate, for example, of anyintermediary tones.

Example:

Outgoing trunk seizure prefix: 0. The external number is: 01 55 66 70 00.

Enter the number recorded in the follwing way: 00155667000.

A recorded number can contain 20 digits maximum, including the seizure prefix. The equivalent «End of keypad» can be entered using the sign * at the end of the recordednumber if it is inferior to the declared format (e.g.: 03615*) .

These are the users name and first name respectively. They contain a maximum of 20characters. They are used for 47xx applications.Note: Inputting the directory name and first name (20 characters respectively) allows the directory name(12 characters) and first name (8 characters) call attributes to be automatically filled in by name andvice-versa. These attributes can be managed seperately. Given the difference in length and, if the thename and first name are too long, they can be truncated (see the attributes Phone book Name (callby name) and Phone book First Name ).

BarringIf this parameter is validated, the contents of the abbreviated number is subject to the controlof discrimination, according to the category of public network access assigned to the user.

Overfl. Dir. Abbrev. Pref. This information is provided to validate overflow when an outgoing trunk is completely busy. Its contents are equal to the prefix of a directly abbreviated number.

Auto. Attendant Calling RightFill in the attribute with a number corresponding to a category number which defines accessto features assigned to the caller (priority, possibility of overflow, access to voice mailbox, etc.)and entered by the installation technician. The default value is equal to 0.This category, taken into account in the «Standard automatic» feature, is used if the callercan be recognized by his/her «identifier» (ISDN) (the callers number must be contained inthe abbreviated number).

Call typeThis attribute is used to define the type of call from the following:• Normal,

• VIP (Very Important Person),

• Internal,• IP,

• IS RPV (ghost private network). This function is used on attendant sets and terminals to distinguish «incoming» ISDN callsaccording to their importance.

Timed Forward. Dir. Abbrev. No.Fill in the attribute with the prefix of a fully abbreviated number. If the initial «open» abbreviatednumber is not filled in by the user before the timer elapses, the PBX automatically sends thecall number that corresponds to the directly abbreviated overflow number.Example:- the prefix 3500 corresponds to the number 0015566. Overflow number of time elapsed:3501,

- the prefix 3501 corresponds to the external number 00155667000 (attendant).Users dial the prefix 3500. The PBX generates the number 0015566.After the timer has elapsed, if the user has not filled in the number, the PBX automaticallydials the prefix number 3501: 00155667000.

Chapter 2 Parameter management

This feature is used to route a caller to a directory number according to the number requested. It is primarily used in Teleservice.

Principle:

If the number requested is filtered and associated with a filtering index (by systemmanagement), the call can be directed to a directory number (routing), on condition that thecaller number can be identified by a number abbreviated by range.

If this is the case, the call is routed to the directory number filled in for the attribute «Routingnumber».

Filtering indexThis attribute characterizes the called number.

Routing numberThis attribute is used to enter the directory number to the call being made, taking into accountthe caller number (indicated by the abbreviated number) and the called number (indicated bythe filtering index). If this attribute is empty, the call is routed to an overflow directory number managed at systemlevel.

Search TypeDuring a hunting group call, the set search that rings is either a cyclical, sequential or paralleltype search.By default, this item is completed with «Cyclical». The type of hunting group can be modifiedto any of the following:• cyclical: the search for the first free set; the system rings the free set that follows the

previously called set.

• sequential: the search is always from the set declared as the head of the group (the firstfree set is rung),

• parallel: a parallel group can call several groups simultaneously using a unique number(non multiline sets).

Group Busy With One CallThis item is valid if the «Search Type» attribute is at «Parallel».Validated at Yes, this item indicates that the parallel group is considered busy if one of thegroups sets is busy.

Release After TimerWhen a set in the hunting group becomes free, it is rung after a timer.Click on this item to validate this feature.

Overflow Directory NumberThe overflow directory number must be entered to validate the overflow. An error messageis displayed if the overflow directory number entered does not correspond to an installationnumber (local multiline set or not, other hunting group) or an attendant call number.

Define the connection categories to allocate to the sets when they are active in the huntinggroup.Sets belonging to a hunting group may not have the same rights in the hunting group as whenthey are outside the hunting group.

Public Network CategoryEach public network access category provides authorization or barring for incoming andoutgoing calls. The public network category is independent of those of the sets inside this group. These setsassume their own category on leaving the group.

Withdrawal AuthorizedWhen «true», this item allows the last set in the hunting group to validate its own withdrawal(provided its operating category allows this, even if the hunting group does not have anoverflow directory number).A call to a hunting group in which all sets have withdrawnwill be routed to the overflow directorynumber if it exists; if not it will be routed to the busy tone.Special Features
