Tang yuan are glutinous rice balls that are eaten by everyone who attends a Chinese wedding ceremony.

A circular rice screen made of bamboo is used to protect the bride (who is not pregnant) from ghosts. If the girl is pregnant, a Chinese umbrella is used instead of a rice screen.

Any sweet tea, symbolizing sweetness in the new union, is good for the chinese wedding tea ceremony.

Fire Cage& TilesThe bride has to walk over a metal bucket with fire and hot coals  just before entering her new house.

fan When the bridal car sets off, the bride throws a fan out of the window, Then the fan is picked up by the bride's brother.

The red color of the envelope&firecracker symbolizes good luck and is supposed to ward off evil spirits.
