Our knowledgeable staff canassist you with virtually all your needs in metal fabrication. Koike Aronson/Ransome cutting machinescan be customized to fit most requirements, and our welding and positioning equipment can be made toaccept work pieces of nearly any size. We have a comprehensive facility incorporating the latesttechnologies to engineer and manufacture heavy-duty equipment for maximum rigidity and long life. Our engineers, service technicians, and business unit representatives have well over 450 years combinedexperience, and our shop personnel have on average 25 years of experience each.
Koike Aronson/Ransome has a sound balance sheet, showing a healthy cash position with access tomultiple untouched lines of credit. This allows us to aggressively support our continuous improvementefforts and to invest in new and better products for our markets.
Koike Aronson/Ransome’s history goes back to 1946 when Chuck Aronson founded AronsonMachine Company. A welding positioner manufacturer at which he invented and patented positionersthat are still used today. In 1969 Airco acquired Aronson Machine Company, then sold it 10 years laterto the BOC Group. In 1985, Koike Sanso Kogyo (est. 1918) of Tokyo, Japan, acquired the combinedBOC and Aronson to add a world-class welding positioner line to their well-regarded cutting machineline. The result was a single company that supplied the market with the best welding positioners andthermal cutting products in the world.
In 2001 Koike Aronson purchased a large competitor based in Houston, TX called RansomeCompany. The acquisition allowed Koike Aronson to offer the most durable, safest, and largest varietyof positioning equipment ever. Today we are known as Koike Aronson/Ransome, Inc., “The MostComplete Line in the Industry.”
COMPANY
Waterjet cutting has developed into a viable option for manycompanies. Although waterjet cutting has always had more versatilematerial cutting ability than any other technology, it was usuallyconsidered too slow, inaccurate and too expensive for companies toconsider. Some of the more recent developments in technologyinclude higher pressure pumps, software that compensates for taperand quality, and full contouring bevel heads. As a result, waterjetmachines are now feasible options for demanding requirements. Injob shop environments, the flexibility of waterjet machines isbecoming more desirable for companies looking for one machineto expand their capabilities. For this type of use, waterjet machinesare being built with a focus on ease of use and cost. As additionalcompanies consider a waterjet machine for the first time, understanding the technology behind waterjet cutting becomesessential.

Abrasivesystem
A waterjet machine can be broken down into three main components. The waterjet pump is a hydraulicsystem that shifts a hydraulic cylinder back and forth. The hydraulic cylinder is connected to plungers thatpressurize water cylinders, creating pressure up to 100,000 psi. This pressurized water is delivered throughhigh pressure tubing to a nozzle assembly that focusesthe pressure into a precise stream of water. At this pointmost applications require abrasive to be mixed withthe water. The abrasive is delivered through apressurized hopper system, and then a feed rate assemblymeasures the desired amount of abrasive to use. It ismixed with the water stream and delivered to thematerial where the abrasive performs the cutting byeroding away the material. In applications where thematerial is soft, such as rubber, plastics and food; it issometimes possible to cut without using abrasive. Finally, the waterjet table will work with a controller toprovide motion of the nozzle in order to cut a finishedpart. The capability of waterjet cutting provides the easiest justification for the technology. Waterjetcutting uses the simple physical process of erosion, and as a result virtually any material can be cut.
The KOIKEJET E Series provides full functionalitywaterjet cutting at an affordable price. Built for speedand ease of use, this machine is ideal for companiesthat are looking to increase capabilities or operate in ajob shop environment.
The KOIKEJET PRO Series is the workhorse of thewaterjet world. Built to cut almost any material through6” steel, this machine will thrive in productionenvironments while maintaining the highest accuracies.

KOIKEJET machines are built with KMT waterjet systems. Built in BaxterSprings, Kansas; KMT components provide the highest performance with thereliability and quality necessary to safely operate a waterjet system. The KMTIntensifier pumps offer the broadest range in the industry. From the highestpressure available (100,000 psi), to the competitive NEOLine Series, Koike haspartnered with KMT to offer extensive machine options.
KMT INTENSIFIER PUMPS
The Streamline PRO series of pumps is the solution formanufacturers requiring the best in performance and value. Theultra-high pressure, 90,000 psi system delivers the highestattainable cut speeds while decreasing the amount of abrasive usedfor each cut. When compared to 60,000 psi, speeds are 50% - 100%faster while the abrasive usage for each part is reduced by 25%.
The Streamline SL-V Plus systems use the latest technology anda very smart design for ease of use, reliability and convenience. With cutting pressure of 60,000 psi, the result is a system thatdelivers the highest overall efficiency and profit for most waterjetapplications.
The NEOLine Pump offers the power of waterjet cutting at 55,000psi in an affordable package. This package provides users with thebest option for an entry level system while still providing thequality, ease of use and low maintenance that comes with anintensifier pump system.
The S-30 & S-50 intensifiers provide the full cutting capabilitiesof the Streamline SL-V series in a more economical package. Thisopen style pump provides easy access for maintenance. Pumpcontrol is fully integrated into the KOIKEJET machine.
Ebbco systems provide the full range of filtration products for anyapplication. From their Abrasive Removal System to the ClosedLoop Filtration System, Ebbco offers solutions for abrasive disposal, water purification, water re-use and waste water filtration.
The Closed Loop Filtration System filters the overflow water fromthe waterjet table. This system drastically reduces water consumption, which saves utility costs and prevents the discharge of dissolvedsolids. This system provides sufficient water volume whileeliminating the requirement for water treatment such as softeners, reverse osmosis and de-ionizing water systems.
The Abrasive Removal System is designed to continuously removespent abrasive that collects in the water tank. This system eliminatesdowntime for clean out, provides a clean and easy method to handlethe abrasive and maximizes production.
The Overflow-to-Drain filter System is designed to remove abrasive, material particles and other suspended solids in overflow water fromthe waterjet table.
EBBCO FILTRATION SYSTEM
The Reverse Osmosis System provides a solution to maintainwaterjet pump life when poor water quality (high total dissolvedsolids) cannot be sufficiently improved with the installation of awater softener.
