HABITAÇÃO EM CAMPO DE OURIQUERESIDENTIAL BUILDING IN CAMPO DE OURIQUE

PTPT O programa consistia no projecto de um edifício habitacional ocupando um quarteirão periférico em Campo de Ourique. As tipologias pedidas seriam T1 acessíveis a pessoas de mobilidade reduzida tendo como público-alvo pessoas idosas e T3, tendo como base uma família típica - casal + 2 filhos.

A nível urbano optou-se por fechar o quarteirão ao grande fluxo automóvel das avenidas adjacentes a Norte e Este. Ao inflectir o volume a Norte para dentro do quarteirão, permitiu-se criar um espaço de desafogo e de distan-ciamento entre o edifício habitacional e o ruído do trânsito lisboeta. A Sul e Oeste, o quarteirão é fechado por um edifício público, criando um espaço público contido no interior do quarteirão.

As estratégias adoptadas no desenho dos fogos passa, no caso do T1, pela criação de um fogo funcional e acessível, com espaço exterior de qualidade e controlo de luz interior através da disposição de painéis de sombrea-mento na fachada. No caso dos T3, existe, além desta preocupação com o controlo da luz por parte dos moradores , uma flexibilidade na tipologia da casa através da possibilidade de conversão de um dos quartos numa extensão da sala de estar e da disposição minimalista de elementos divisores da casa, que permitem a criação de um espaço mais fluido.

ENG The program consisted on the design of a residential building in a peripheral block in Campo de Ourique, Lisbon. The requested typologies were T1, which should be accessible to people of reduced mobility, having in mind, specifi-cally, elderly people and T3, intended for the typical family composition - 1 couple + 2 kids.

On an urban level, we chose to close off the block to the intense automobile traffic of the adjacent avenues that limit the lot on the north an east side. By inflecting the northernmost volume inwards toward the center of the urban block, one created a distancing space between the residential building e the Lisbon traffic noise. On the south and east side, the block is defined by a public use building, defining a self-contained public space in the heart of the block.

The adopted strategies when designing the individual apartments consisted, in the T1’s case, in the creation of a functional and accessible tenement, with a high quality outdoors space and natural light control by the introduction of sliding shading panels on the facade. In the T3’s case, there is, in addition to this concern of natural light control by the tenants, a level of flexibility in the apartment’s typology, expressed through the possibility of the conversion of one of the bedrooms in to an extension of the house’s ling space and the minimalist layout of space dividing elements, allowing the creation of a fluider space.

CENTRO DE DIVULGAÇÃO DE ARTES NO PARQUE TIVOLICENTRE FOR THE DIVULGATION OF ARTS IN THE TIVOLI PARK

PTPT A premissa é a criação de um edifício destinado à divulgação de artes e realização de eventos neste âmbito junto ao pavilhão desportivo do Tivoli Park em Ljubljana, numa área de intervenção caracterizada por um grande declive. Optou-se pelo aproveitamento de um edifício pré-existente e de característico da arquitectura tradicional de Ljubljana através da introdução de um longo volume serpenteante que se desenrola e merge do pré existente, contornando a forma da montanha em que está implantado. Esta disposição permite a criação de um plateau público que oferece um miradouro que oferece uma vista desimpedida da cidade de Ljubljana e que se conecta à base da montanha e à avenidaavenida através de uma passagem por baixo do volume contemporâneo, que se desprende do chão para premirir esta passagem.

(nota: Este edifício pertence originalmente a um conjunto urbano projectado. No entanto, devido à perda de alguns ficheiros importantes, este conjunto não se encontra representado)

ENG The premise is the design of a building intended for the divulgation of arts and the realization of various events in this context. It is located next to the Sport pavilion in Tivoli Park in Ljubljana, in a terrain defined by a large slope. One opted by the rehabilitation of a pre-existing building, characteristic of the traditional Ljubljana architecture. This was done in pair with the introduction of a long contemporary volume which unfolds and emerges from the pre-existing building, following the shape of the mountain in which it is built.

This disposition allows the creation of a large public plateau, which offers an impended view to the city of Ljubljana and connects to the base of the mountain and to the adjacent avenue through a passage below the serpent-like con-temporary volume, created by its detachment from the terrain.

PTPT Este projecto tem como pressuposto a ocupação e reabilitação do quarteirão adjacente ao Hospital do Des-terro. A estratégia adoptada inclui, a nível funcional, a implementação de usos mistos: habitação de várias tipo-logias, comércio, escritórios e lazer. A nível de definição do espaços públicos, assumem grande importância os espaços característicos da cidade medieval: as ruelas estreitas, os largos contidos, de forma irregular e as prac-etas, ortogonais e bem definidas geometricamente. A articulação entres estes espaços diferentes e, por vezes, contrastantes, tem como objectivo imbuir no utilizador um experiência fenomenológica rica e complexa, em que o percorrer do complexo arquitectónico é um percurso de descoberta. A face exterior do quarteirão, a que encara a cidade é mantida com o carácter original através da reabili-tação do antigo Hospital do Desterro e de vários edifícios habitacionais. Assim, o edificado contemporâneo encontra-se semi-escondido no coração do quarteirão, assumindo um carácter de semi-secrecidade, sendo apenas identificável por pequenos afloramentos de linguagem arquitectónica contemporânea visíveis a partir do exterior do quarteirão. Estas estratégias, tanto funcional como morfológica, permitem aumentar a atractividade de um meio urbano, que, tal como muitos bairros tradicionais da cidade de Lisboa, a foram perdendo gradualmente através da progressiva degradação do património edificada, bem como por um conjunto de forças socio-económicas.

ENG This project has as a premise the occupation and rehabilitation of the block adjacent to the old Desterro’s Hospital. The adopted strategy includes, on a functional level, the implementation of mixed uses: habitation of various typologies, commerce, offices, and leisure. On the defining of the public spaces, the spaces typically de-fined by the old medieval cities layout assume great importance: the narrow streets, the selfcontained but amor-phous and irregular openings and the orthogonal and geometrically well defined small plazas. The articulation of this different - and sometimes contrasting - spaces aims to incite in the user a rich and complex phenomenological experience, in which the act of wandering in this environment becomes an act of discovery and surprise.

The external side of the block, the one that faces the city is kept with the original character, through the rehabilitation of the old Hospital do Desterro and of various old residential buildings. This way, the contemporary built volumes are secluded in the heart of the quarter, being identified from the outside only by singular efflores-cent of contemporary architecture design.

This strategies, both functional and morphologic, allow the increase of attractivity of an urban environment which, like many traditional neighborhoods of Lisbon, have been losing it gradually through the progressive deg-radation of the edified patrimony, in addition to the action of a set of socio-economic forces.
