Preparation is key

− Know who you are meeting, research the company

− Familiarise yourself with the job description

− Know your CV and take 2 copies with you

− Confirm the time and date of your interview

− Plan your journey and aim to arrive at least 15 minutes early

− Dress smartly and conservatively

During the Interview

− Greet the interviewer with a handshake

− Smile and make eye contact

− Try not to let nerves get the better of you and relax

− Speak clearly and articulately

− Be positive

− Ask questions but don't interrupt
