CVC Short Vowel Sounds Read and Cover Game Thank you for downloading our free printable CVC Read and Cover Game. This game includes multiple formats so you can differentiate based on student needs. TIPS & IDEAS FOR USE To play independently: Choose one board. Pick a game card. Use pom poms, bingo chips, or a similar manipulative for kids to place on their boards Place a manipulative (or magnetic letter with the beginning sound) on the matching picture for the card. Play until you have all squares covered. Finish by re-reading each card. small group: Gather enough bingo boards for each child playing and the corresponding game cards. Let kids take turns selecting a game card. All kids will read the word and then cover the corresponding space on their game boards if they have it.
