DON’T GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

• It is very important not to give anyone your personal information.

• Personal information includes your name, address, phone number, school, what you look like, family members, friends, etc. Any information which can identify you should not be shared with anyone on line.

• If someone should ask for this information, please contact an adult you trust such as your parents or guardians immediately so they can help you.

DON’T AGREE TO MEET WITH ANYONE WHEN YOU ARE NOT WITH A PARENT OR GUARDIAN

• Never agree to meet with anyone without being with a parent or guardian.

• It is not safe, they may seem nice, but they shouldn’t be asking you to meet them.

• If this happens, tell an adult such as your parent or guardian immediately.

They may seem like they are cool and want to be your friend. However, don’t agree to meet with them.

It is not safe to meet with anyone without your parents or guardians being there. The person may want to hurt you..

• Don’t let anyone make you feel uncomfortable or hurt you with their words or actions.

DON’T GET TIRED AND STOP USING SAFETY GUIDELINES

• Don’t think DANGER WILL NOT HAPPEN TO YOU!!! Therefore, don’t relax and forget to use safety precautions which will help keep you safe.

• You don’t know when the CYBER MONSTER WILL APPEAR! It may target you, so stay focused and follow the safety guidelines.

FACTS ABOUT CYBER-BULLYING

ACCORDING TO I-SAFE.ORGGRADES 4-8, 1,500 STUDENTS

■42% of kids have been bullied while online. 1 in 4 have had it happen more than once.

■35% of kids have been threatened online. Nearly 1 in 5 have had it happen more than once.

■21% of kids have received mean or threatening e-mail or other messages.

■58% of kids admit someone has said mean or hurtful things to them online. More than 4 out of 10 say it has happened more than once.

■53% of kids admit having said something mean or hurtful to another person online. More than 1 in 3 have done it more than once.

■58% have not told their parents or an adult about something mean or hurtful that happened to them online.

DON’T EVER LET ANYONE BULLY YOU OR

PRESURE YOU INTO MAKING BAD CHOICES DON’T become a victim of cyber

bullying. Remember let a parent, teacher or guardian know if you experience someone’s behavior or words which have hurt you or may be making you feel uncomfortable.

Here are three original songs which were written to teach children about the importance of not to become a bully, how it feels to be bullied, and the importance of avoiding peer pressure which doesn’t want others to follow rules.

Remember always FOLLOW Safety Guidelines SO YOU CAN STAY SAFE! Don’t let others to stop you from making the right choices!
