The Festival is a great tradition. Every year thousands of people gather to celebrate the unique relationship between Russia and Cyprus.

The Festival is already a well known tradition. In 2014 more than 1,000 actors, dancers and singers from both countries performed on three stages taking part in a very rich non-stop concert and enterntainment program.

The Cyprus-Russian Festival is by far the biggest event of its kind in Cyprus. About 12-15,000 people will gather in June 2015 in the Limassol Municipal Gardens to celebrate the unique relationship between Russia and Cyprus.

Cyprus-Russian Festival

There are about 50,000 Russian-speakers residing in Cyprus. More than 800,000 tourists from CIS countries visit Cyprus every year.

The Festival has already become a very important part of the community’s life. The success of the Festival is the result of excellent organisational experience and a well-prepared program that uniquely combines official and entertainment elements.

Please contact organisers to share your ideas. We welcome new participants and supporters every year; it is a perfect opportunity for us to improve the Festival.

Every year the President of Cyprus greets Festival’s participants and guests

I am pleased to address once again the Cyprus-Russian Festival, which after nine years has become an important cultural institution in our country. At the same time, the Cyprus-Russian Festival has become a body of intercultural exchange between our two peoples. I congratulate the organisers of this lovely celebration of art and culture and hope that every year the Festival becomes even more successful.I wish to emphasize the fact that Cyprus and Russia maintain very strong and deep ties. Such events reinforce these relations and promote the friendship between the people of Cyprus and Russia, especially in the current circumstances that make these ties even more essential.I would like to express my best wishes to all the participants and the organizers of the festival and to assure you that we will continue to work towards the further strengthening of the good relations between our two countries.
