We have a flag with red, blue and white colours

We have to big national symbols – one with two eagles and two lions and the second with the king lion with two tails.

Our national tree is linden. We have national anthem called

„Kde domov můj“.

Prague is our capital city.In Prague there are many monuments as an astronomical clock.

The Czech president lives in Prague.

The river Vltava flows through Prague. There are a lot of bridges over the river. Charles bridge is very popular for tourists.

- Sněžka is the highest mountain – 1620m - A lot of nice castles

- Kofola is popular drink originaly from Czech

- Glass production is -high quality

You can see photos from history - old city Most.

The people destroyed the city 40 years ago because of a lot of important coal in the ground.There were special machines to coal mine as you can see in photos.

It was beautiful city with nice nature before destruction. Now we have a new modern city.

It is the old church with the name of the Virgin Mary.The church originaly stood in the old city but it had to be transfered on the tracks 841 meters far away because it was coal under the church and city.

There you can see how the place looks today.

GOTHIC DEAN CHURCH

People go to church for a walk, relax and walk the dogs today. The second picture shows a piece of lake. There are some art exhibitions, concerts and tours in the church. It was moved about 841 metres far away in history.

ROMANIAN CHURCH

The church was built in Romania. This Romanian church was moved to Czech republic as a present because people from Most have

friends in Romania. This church is made from wood.

This castle is on the hill with the same name.This hill is 399 metres above sea.In this castle there is very good restaurant.From the castle there is excellent view on the city.

There are a lot of places for different kinds of sports –car and horse race curquits, golf, swimming pool, in-line skating, playgrounds, walking, skiing, skateboarding, running, gyms for dancing, basketball, handball etc.

TOWN CENTRE

IN OUR TOWN WE HAVE TWO SQUARES WITH FOUNTAINS, A POPULAR DEPARTMENT STORE , FANTASTIC THEATRE, TOWN HALL AND PLACES MARKETS AND RELAX LIKE PARKS.

You can see one of the square at the photos. There is castle Hněvín behind the centre.

You can see a fountain with fish inside.There is a historical statue and the benches to sit and relax.There is Town Hall in front and the store on the left called Central.

PLACES FOR RELAX

Benedikt and Matylda are names of lakes - two popular places for relax in our city. We can swim, play sports game, ride personal watercraft , do roller skating and cycling. There are small shopes with drink and food. You can fishing here.
