the Secretary of the Treasury to exchangecoupon bonds for sjven-thir'- y Treasury notes,"holders of such notes are hereby notified, li.tafter the paymvnt of the annual interest duethem on the first day ot January, 1865, uponpresentation of the same, the Treasurer, Assist-ant Treasurer, and Pay Depositaries as desig-nated at f"ot will isue certificates 'therefor,which will entitle the holders to coupon b ndspayable thirty yeara after the first day of Janu-ary, le65 bearing six per cent, interest from saidfirst of January, 165, payable oa the first dayaof January a o July in each year.
